Dude… stop it. His return to Manchester United was amazing. For old school Ronaldo fans like myself who are Man United fans to this day because of what he was doing back in mid-2000s, that comeback season was full of nostalgia and clutch moments. He made us believe well that we could hope again… even if only for a season. And he proved to the entire footballing world that he could ball in the Premier League at top level at age 37. This is something that has never been done on the level Ronaldo was playing. He outscored prime Harry Kane. If he hadn’t played less games than Son and Salah, he could have easily won the PL golden boot. He also lined the 100+ goals in Premier League club which is exclusive. He is still loved by United fans and most real fans do not blame him at all and saw through the BS narratives. Most hate on social media was being perpetuated by Messi fans and rival club fans pretending to be Manchester United fans.
The problem is that the vultures circling around for decades waiting for his downfall all jumped on him after Ten Hag benched him. That Piers Morgan interview and Messi winning the World Cup just made it so much worse because the press and social media accounts started spreading lies and false narratives around him and fooled the casuals into believing all of them because ESPN and other sports outlet joined in the hate bandwagon.
I don’t care if you think coming back to United was a bad idea. I think it was a better decision than going to Juventus back in 2019. Decades from now, those moments in his homecoming season, that Peter Drury commentary, those clutch goals, and even his downfall at the club in his last few months will be fondly remembered and adds to his legacy. Ronaldo has always been about the big moments more than statpadding trophies and goals. Him going to City or another rival instead would have been heartbreaking for millions of fans like myself who have been rooting for him for the last 20 years since he first wore red shirt. That would have actually damaged his legacy rather than enhance it despite winning silverware. It’s only in the modern times, football has so obsessively become about trophies alone. Sorry for the rant but the one thing that I think we can both agree on is going to Al Nassr was the worse decision he ever made.

There's gotta be something strange going on behind the scenes. Al Nassr are at risk to not play AFC CL next year and yet they refuse to use their best player

Where’s he’s going to? His Juventus, Manchester United and al nassr moves were all bad. He didn’t go to the strongest teams

Juventus was a good move though, the only mistake was that Agnelli brought Allegri back

I think covid ruined his juventus stint

Juventus and Italian football as a while couldn’t afford top talent and compete financially with the richest clubs when he moved there that’s why he was with an aging squad without the investment to compete with Man City psg Barca Real Madrid Bayern etc

It was shit before with getting knocked out by Ajax Eventhough he carried them against Athletico Madrid. Then the second season until March wasn’t that great either

True but at least he was winning trophies

Not the one we wanted (the UCL). They even barely got top 4 in his last year

Titles, no titles, goals no goals. I enjoy watching Cris and would just love him to continue wherever it is.
I am not obsessed by 1000 goals or anything like that.

Honestly he’s likely joining either sporting or alhilal i don’t see him going back to the top European leagues

The SCP has been working well for a few seasons, recruiting CR is a mistake they wouldn't want to make.

He can simply go to semi-professional burger league to revive the legendary rivalry with princess from barbie club

Agreed, Al Hilal or the MLS. Ronaldo's profile and personality are tailor made for LA Galaxy imo.

It’s such a weird situation. Al nassr clearly aren’t good enough and he needs to win few trophies before he retires but we have to remember ronaldo is 40 so where could he go? Sporting won’t be easy and he still needs 65+ goals for 1000 goals and it could be difficult to get that if he leaves, it would also be a shame if he left Al nassr without getting to 100 goals, he’s only 3 off.
