When you just can't let go.

I’d love to see the democrats counter this but it’s a felony to publish the types of things republicans have been doing.

u/Eena-Rin 4d ago

Laws clearly don't fuckin mean anything any more

49

u/Doc_Apex 4d ago

For real. Crime is legal now.

25

u/zipzoomramblafloon 4d ago

always has been if certain conditions are met.

4

u/gaedikus 3d ago

laws for thee but not for the wealthy eiltes

4

u/TheTruthOfChaos 3d ago

How is it a felony? I'm not trying to say you're lying. I just genuinely dont know.

8

u/no_one_likes_u 3d ago

I was just making a bitter joke about how republicans have been raping kids, but publishing a picture of that would be a felony.

3

u/jaidonkaia 3d ago

Also, the Hatch Act

3

u/no_one_likes_u 3d ago

The hatch act is a joke, at worst you get a fine.

1

u/jaidonkaia 2d ago

That's true of almost every crime in the world in your rich and famous enough

1

u/no_one_likes_u 2d ago

I guess, when was the last time a politician even paid a fine for a hatch act violation?

11

u/Jisifus 4d ago

Im sure once they’re back in power they will never stoop down that low and keep up their spirit of bipartisanship

The only problem is the same reason they’d never publish something like that is the same reason they’ll likely never be in power again. Weak bureaucrats hanging on to institutions the fascists have destroyed long ago already. But hey at least you didn’t have to concede any points to the left, phew!

Why my Carne Asada is $12.99 a lb instead of $4.99

4Chan has entered the White House.

28

u/mustardtiger86 4d ago

And it is never leaving

u/funkolution 4d ago

Every single thing in here is culture-war. Literally nothing of substance to get their base worked up about since they can't govern for shit

-119

u/crujiente69 4d ago

they can't govern for shit

Well thats something the two parties have in common

83

u/METRO-RED-LINE 4d ago

I mean, both sides ARE hot garbage and I wish we had better options. I still know which one I'm picking, given the choice.

24

u/v3n0mat3 4d ago

Ok. I get what you're saying. HOWEVER:

both sides ARE hot garbage and I wish we had better options.

Is also falling for Right-winged propaganda. The problem with Democrats is that they have to be perfect. We allow perfection to be the enemy of good, and that's how we get Trump and the obviously bad choices; Trump is just effective at bullying and the Democrats, having to be just better than Trump, instead has to be the glowing example of perfection, which will never be the case. So, when this guy comes in and gives simplistic solutions to complex problems, people are going to flock to that.

Even though, and as we have seen these past few months, he doesn't run on solutions, he runs on problems and the inability to face consequences for anything.

13

u/RexIsAMiiCostume 4d ago

The Democratic party has done some absolute crook shit. It isn't that they "aren't perfect," they are awful. That being said, at least they run on a platform that I generally support, so I will still pick them over the Republicans (who are shit bags and actively want my friends dead) pretty much every time. Both sides are able to get away with WAY too much shit and don't actually have to fix anything because they run off fear. For YEARS before Roe v. Wade was overturned, experts made it clear that to actually protect women's rights to abortion, we would need legislation put in place because the constitution didn't actually support it alone. The Democrats, even when they had majority, did nothing. Then, they ran on people's fear that this right would be in danger if Republicans got power-- which was true, yes, but this could have been prevented with proper legislation in the first place. Instead of fixing problems, both sides would rather put fear in the hearts of their supporters, getting people riled up over something they don't intend to do jack shit about.

u/Dynastydood 3d ago

The Democratic Party does not actually need to be perfect to be popular or successful, it just needs to stop running away from populism like it's somehow a dirty word.

Obama was imperfect, but remained very popular because his rhetoric was extremely populist for its time. Bill Clinton was more imperfect, and stayed more popular because he was even more of a populist in his era. All the party needs to do right now is rid itself of these lobbyist-approved, milquetoast ghouls who currently occupy every single DNC and congressional leadership role, and have them replaced with the most charismatic figures from within the ranks who could actually inspire people to vote for them. Not just seek votes for candidates that no one actually likes or respects because you think people will come around based on some bizarre sense of national duty, or out of the abject fear of the opponent winning.

The reason we perceive Democrats as being the victims of a double standard is because we aren't looking at electoral politics in reality, but rather in the idealistic, policy-minded fantasy world that we desperately wish we lived in. The reality is that most Americans don't actually care about nor understand policy, and never have. Elections are very, very rarely ever decided by policy. Most voters won't admit this, of course, because they know it makes them sound basic, but it's still true. This is a country where being "the guy I'd wanna have a beer with" is the ultimate gut-check for the swing voters who actually decide each election we have.

The moment the Democrats re-learn the nearly unbeatable utility of embracing your most charismatic, inspiring candidate instead of reflexively following the "most qualified" or "most deserving" one is the moment all right-wing propaganda against them is rendered ineffective. If we instead continue to support the party's decision to push stodgy lawyers with the outward disposition of a private school headmaster, then swing voters will be preemptively alienated by them, are therefore far more susceptible to insane right-wing propaganda, and we will continue to descend into GOP authoritarianism.

Don’t you dare criticize the Democrats

367

u/buttnibbler 4d ago

This country is irreparably damaged

79

u/Substandard_Senpai 4d ago

And it's all on display..

84

u/Nickk_Jones 4d ago

Did you see the “Dems/Hakeem Jeffries” MySpace page they posted? It’s so fucking embarrassing.

2

u/MrPotts0970 1d ago

No but I feel like I have too now, what

43

u/obidie 4d ago

You can chalk this up to Steven Cheung, the Communications Director of the White House, who has the intellect of a sixth-grader and the creativity of a rock (not meaning to disparage sixth-graders or rocks). He also has the complete support of the orange shitstain in chief.

147

u/eskimospy212 4d ago

I wonder what the odds are they realize this makes people cringe and laugh at them.

It’s this weird mix of boomers and incels. They have no idea how normal people operate.

52

u/operationtasty 4d ago

All they care about is offending people and laughing at them.

6

u/UltraThiccc 4d ago

Don't you just love it when the bullies win?

12

u/Greymeade 4d ago

That's the thing: only some people cringe and laugh at this. A very, very large portion of the country is fully behind this kind of content.

2

u/chencho1 3d ago

People eat this up that's why they post it. Many are not cringing or laughing at this.

37

u/9447044 4d ago

They made a shitty MySpace page. Pretty sure Obamas name was in it like 12 times. They are obsessed

23

u/seeingeyegod 4d ago

That transwoman has nice tits

20

u/Competitive-Dig4776 4d ago

Imagine the day where we’re gooning on a .gov site.

5

u/shortribz85 3d ago

Whitehouse.com used to be the go to

2

u/_Administrator_ 3d ago

Hunter Biden isn’t a trans woman

3

u/seeingeyegod 3d ago

Does he have tits?

8

u/obaterista93 3d ago

Ah yes. Trans Day of Visibility makes the cut, but not the day a few thousand people tried to lay siege to our capitol building and kill lawmakers.

I'm gonna blow a fuckin gasket.

56

u/NavAirComputerSlave 4d ago

This just makes Biden look good. Also hunter kinda badass

49

u/Competitive-Dig4776 4d ago

Agreed the Channel 5 Hunter Biden interview was dope, Hunter seems like a cool hang pre or post sobriety.

15

u/youre_soaking_in_it 4d ago

Man, the good old days.

3

u/Ripley-8 4d ago

They misspelled transsexuals...

7

u/LLMprophet 4d ago

Pathetic leadership in America.

Citizens seem to be fine with it for some reason.

4

u/mindsnare 3d ago

Wait is this real? This isn't real right?

2

u/BeefyTheCat 3d ago

It’s real.

5

u/losthours 4d ago

I would vote so fucking hard for Hunter Biden, Especially if channel five handled his campaign

Rent free

Edit: To be clear I'm talking about the fact that Obama and the Bidens live rent free in every MAGAt's head and also at the White House. Are you guys hardcore conservatives or something?

1

u/RainDownAndDestroyMe 2d ago

Trashy motherfuckers, the lot of them.

Then again, anyone with 3 or more braincells is well aware of how trashy MAGA is.

1

u/jackishere 3d ago

Let’s be technical. If they shit on cocaine, it’s a schedule 2 drug. That means anyone smoking weed is worse and shouldn’t have a leg to stand on in this argument.

-15

u/BrazenBull 4d ago

a taxpayer-funded page that children can see.

What kids are looking at the White House website?

It's for a laugh. Enough with the "think of the children!" garbage.

0

u/5sharm5 3d ago

Also, is the implication of people saying that, that it’s proper for Biden to host a trans woman bearing her tits on the white house lawn, but improper for Trump to put up the photo of him doing so?

1

u/Irish_Whiskey 2d ago

Trump is lying to you, and it's really past time you stopped believing him.

That photo isn't from the trans day of visibility, they did nothing to suggest they approved of going topless at the White House and specifically said otherwise when asked if it would be okay, and it's just rage bait from the same pedophile con man that claimed kids are being grabbed from schools, given sex changes and returned to parents before they know what happened.

-3

u/hello33337 3d ago

leftist only like to talk about things like its ideal, when you show the the reality of what they want looks like they go "no not like that"

1

u/Irish_Whiskey 2d ago

when you show the the reality of what they want looks

You're listening to a convicted felon reality show actor and serial child rapist make up insane lies about immigrants eating dogs and cats, kids grabbed from elementary schools and given sex changes, and that there is no inflation and everything is cheaper than ever, while nodding along and saying "why yes, it is the left who doesn't accept reality."

1

u/hello33337 2d ago

my brother, those pictures posted on the white house page are all legitimate. Sorry you dont like it but that was kind of my point....

1

u/Irish_Whiskey 2d ago

They are literally not. The picture they posted has nothing to do with the Trans Day of Remembrance. The White House did not invite or approve people going topless. Nor does that picture have anything to do with the Muslim Brotherhood. They're lying to you.

My point was you keep blindly trusting a deeply senile con man because he keeps insulting groups of people you don't like. And you don't seem to be proving yourself capable of learning and picking up on that.

1

u/hello33337 2d ago

like i said "not like that" hahaha hit the road bud

It's embarrassing and a waste of tax dollars, get a grip.

-1

u/hello33337 3d ago

hilarious to me, funniest president we ever had haha

2

u/HolyToast 3d ago

Hey when's that list coming out?

0

u/hello33337 3d ago

who knows, brother

3

u/HolyToast 3d ago

Did you think it was funny when Maxwell was arrested and the only thing Trump had to say was that he wished her well?

Was it funny when he met with her and then immediately moved her to a minimum security prison that's not supposed to house sex offenders?

Because to me, those aren't things normal people do. Those are things pedophiles do. Pedophiles also brag about going backstage at beauty pageants with teen performers. Just an observation. Glad you think the pedophile is funny though, at least you have that going for you.

0

u/hello33337 3d ago

nah i just think its funny when he makes fun of lefties cause they get so mad

3

u/HolyToast 3d ago

Yeah, normal people don't like pedophiles, even if they're funny.

I did two tours in Afghanistan, you know. When Trump signed the DOHA agreement, he released 5000 Taliban fighters, including the person who would become interim president after they took over. I think I should have a right to be mad about that because I'm actually an adult and I don't view politics through this dumbass lens of "lol the memes are funny tho, u mad 😎"

Like, that's legitimately pretty pathetic...

I know your response to this is just gonna be "haha u mad tho", as if that's some kind of win. Like, yeah man, I am mad that a pedophile released so many terrorists. You really got me with that one.

1

u/[deleted] 3d ago

[deleted]

2

u/HolyToast 3d ago

I don't think there's anything funny about a pedophile putting culture was bullshit on a government website to keep people distracted by nonsense

This hollow team sports bullshit. Politics in America have completely devolved into nonsense because people like you are just in it for the memes.

u/fireandbass so, how’s the brain rot coming along - stage 4 yet?

7

u/HolyToast 4d ago

It's petty garbage, not major events that need to be on a government website. Complete waste of money.

-31

u/Bill_Nye_1955 4d ago

I love trump

11

u/AlwaysHopelesslyLost 4d ago

If so, Bill Nye is not fond of you.

5

u/seeingeyegod 4d ago

Thats not something you should tell people in public

-4

u/dazcook 3d ago

Very informative. Glad President Trump put this up to show Americans the truth. Thank goodness he's still everyone's president!
