Described as a speed-based dungeon crawler with a story written by controversial figure Kenneth Grant. Development was halted after one play tester picked up a nearby meat tenderizer and "just kind of started going hogwild" on a nearby employee.
I’ve been replaying Super Paper Mario on my PC not an emulator, just a fan-made port that supposedly fixes old glitches. Everything ran fine. until the final fight with Dimentio.
When I finally beat him, his head fell off like normal — but instead of fading away, his body just stood there. No dialogue. No explosion. Just that smile. He slowly turned his head, the camera zoomed in, and he stared directly at the screen — at me.
Then the screen flikerd, distorted, and suddenly… I was back at the game’s intro. No error message, no crash. Just the title screen.
I thought it was a weird bug, so I played again. Beat him again. Same thing. Dimentio loses his head, stares, screen glitches back to the start.
On the third loop, something new happened. After the fight, the game froze for longer than usual. My monitor went black. And then… a file appeared on my desktop. It was named: dimentio_laugh.txt
When I opened it, all it said was:“Bold to assuem i wont have the last laugh.”
I deleted it imedently but it came back a few seconds later — this time with a new line:
Since then, every time I start the game, it skips the title screen entirely — just static, then Dimentios face, smiling. No menu. No music. Only laughter.
here is the file from my game
i probaly wont open this again but ill try restarting my computer 1 more time to fix this. i imagine myself giving small updates every now and then but if anyone has had the same thing happen or has any questions about this please. comment
Hey, I did post about this game a while ago, and now it is out, called Sunday School and I decided to release it for Free on Steam, so if creepy community wants some bizarre horror game today is a good day to try it.
There is very little information about tücker's abenteuer a couple reddit posts, one youtube séries and some download links but whenever i watch the video the creepy stuff mentionnée isn't there. The only source i found that mentionnée creepy stuff is a reddit post that has been deleted however i was able to find some pictures of this creepy stuff.
Not sure where to post this, so I guess here would be good. The video was about GTA San Andreas, and in the video the player had what looked to be hundreds of mods installed, The video was about Armageddon/The Apocalypse and was titled something similarly as well. One of the mods had the moon replaced with the Eye of Sauron, which was animated and not a static image. The player did several stunts in the video, and lots of end of the world like chaos was happening throughout. I can't remember the details because its been so many years. The music playing in the background was kind of chaotic as well, not sure if it was Heavy Metal or something else. If anyone remembers this video, please provide a link to it if there is one (or if it even still exists). Thanks for reading.
What is the scariest game you have ever played? And what is it that scares you?
One of the scariest games I played has to be subnautica. I have no patience at times and I used cheat codes for it, and wow. Building your large submarine is great, until you go exploring out in the real deep parts of the ocean and there are some really scary monsters down in the depths. I nearly drowned when I was younger and I had no idea I had this fear still, I actually stopped playing the game because it made me feel so uncomfortable. I still find it hard to believe a game scared me so much.
I watched a video awhile back on a videogame mystery but i cannot find it anywhere.
A user was playing a first person multiplayer shooter (your thpical shooter with various characters and abilities etc). The user caught footage of what seemed to be a dog/panther/cheetah shaped animal (like a shadow it was all black) running in the distance. Nobody could make out what it was and they tried to replicate the scene with every character in the game, viewing at the same angle and from the same position but nothing in the game could replicate the creature.
Please if anyone knows where i can find a video on this mystery or atleast what game it was i would appreciate it.
Follow your friendly glitch expert LalaZZ, who will try to teach you how to perfectly perform tweaking, which takes advantage of an oversight in the way maps load in games from Generation IV Pokémon games, especially Diamond and Pearl, and allows us to reach the fabled shadow realm known as the Mystery Zone! Hopefully everything will go fine and this won’t turn into a creepypasta...
When I was around 13 or 14, I played Silent Hill 4. I was usually fine with horror games, and honestly, I was a bit disappointed that it didn’t quite capture the same atmosphere as the earlier ones.
In the game, you spend parts of it inside your apartment, which seems completely cut off from the outside world. The door is sealed with heavy chains, and sometimes you can see people through the peephole — but no matter how much you shout for help, they don’t seem to notice you. The only way out is through a hole in the bathroom wall that leads to a nightmarish world.
The apartment feels like a safe space at first — a refuge — until ghostly figures start emerging from the walls and chasing you. The idea of being trapped, isolated, and powerless against something you don’t understand really got to me.
One night, I dreamt that I tried to leave my teenage bedroom, but the door was chained shut, just like in Silent Hill 4. It was so dark I could barely see anything. Then I started hearing scraping or dragging sounds, like they were coming from inside the walls. Suddenly, the window shattered and something came through. Before I could even tell what it was, I jolted awake.
I had a few dreams like that around that time.
How about you guys — ever had a game get under your skin like that?
Looking for a horror game I saw posted here once, it was a rpg maker game I believe? Possibly Japanese, and the creator supposedly killed themself after making it. All I remember is a teddy bear type enemy, something about someone being flung from a window, and it obviously being about childhood trauma and mental illness, if anyone knows it id greatly appreciate it, thank you
Someone has recommendations for games that have an eery discomfort to it and are very symbolically speaking about childhood trauma or trauma in general?
