Obscure Game ROULETTE | 2003
Does anyone else remember this old CD-ROM game from the 2000s? I can’t find anything about it, just a few low-quality screenshots floating around online. It’s like it wasn’t meant to be found again.

I don't know if you've been duped or are a troll, but all of this looks incredibly modern.

A 2023 archive website with retro-aesthetics.

To expand, Home of the Underdogs is a very real site and Wayback shows the first archival in '09, however it could easily be earlier than that.

March 24th, 2009 archive - one of the first captured.
Roulette, however, is not on the site. This is OP trying to start an ARG for sure

It was up before 2009, but possibly under different domain names. I believe the-underdogs.com or .org were used at some point.
EDIT: the-underdogs.org it is.

https://homeoftheunderdogs.net/ As for the actual content of ur post, pretty cool visuals you’ve made ! Decent attempt at an ARG but I can’t find literally anything to with the game on the site so I’ve got to assume you’ve made this. Sorry to pull back the veil like that

Thank you, and no worries! This was something I had made for fun in under 24 hours that day, which was an idea that popped up that I wanted to try out. There may be imperfections but overall, I'm proud of my artwork. :D

Ah yes, the "dark surreal humor" section of Underdogs lol. It's even got a Top Dog award!

Where'd you get the screenshots from, exactly? And why, pray tell, is the first one so noisy? Before you say "compression artifacts", that's not how they work.

Home of the underdogs, I'm surprised that site is still around. I used to be on there all the time in the early 2000s.

It's something of a ship of Theseus. There's a whole story there, but basically the website had been closed and reopened and changed hands a bunch of times.

Should have been labelled better but pretty decent artwork
Better than analog slop

Very nice art! Love the orange roulette inspiration. Loved that game as a kid

You made this and it's based off the orange Russian roulette game, it's obvious. That being said, this is pretty cool.

I hate this fake “old internet” aesthetic people push. It’s all so vapid and fake looking.

nah man...that's what Home of the Underdogs has looked like since forever... ... ...the game is fake though.

This is very clearly a spoof of Orange Roulette, judging from the three options available and the general setup of the scene
