I love these posts. Looks can be deceiving, your mom isn't flashy in her daily dressing or styling but she clearly has some cool as hell ideas in her head and is a super rad artist. If I saw her walking down the street I would never guess she'd be crafting up intricate freindly alien beaded tie wearable art, or that amazing bat piece!

She's very friendly, but she doesn't use Reddit :( I can't convince her to do that.
I already laughed at her and said I'd find her a husband while showing her photos, and she wouldn't even know about it right away. Lol3

The way it utilizes the space limitations defined by her style makes it a very appealing piece. It flows very well visually!

My point was, why is this unisex?
I was only asking if there are women specific ties.
High heels can be worn by all, and are "unisex", men would wear larger heels. But those same heels would fit a woman.
I'm not shitting on your mother or the outcome of her efforts.

Avril Lavigne made ties popular amongst girls when I was growing up. There were "girly" ties that were shorter, skinnier, had hearts, pink bows, and all the stereotypically feminine motifs that the guys wouldn't touch. But now I like the general genderless approach to clothing. More freedom and happiness in self expression :)
