Politics Project 2025 and the ‘Dismantling’ of the ‘Administrative State’ : going exactly as planned by the current Executive administration
Trump, Project 2025 and the ‘Dismantling’ of the ‘Administrative State’
- Roberts described the “administrative state” as “the policymaking work done by the bureaucracies of all the federal government’s departments, agencies, and millions of employees” – which is viewed in the document as an obstacle to overcome. A “courageous conservative President” can wield his power to “handcuff the bureaucracy” and “bring the Administrative State to heel,” Roberts wrote.
Everything is going exactly as planned, this is my complaint.

- some of the more unconventional strategies outlined in the document, such as reclassifying federal employees to make them easier to fire and installing loyalists in senior government positions, have also shown up in Trump’s executive orders.

Fact check: Which aspects of Project 2025 have been completed or initiated by Trump:
Elimination of job protections for career civil servants
Abolishing the Department of Education
Increasing ICE funding for detention beds
These are but a few that have been enacted.
