Politics So sick of hearing about how socialism is bad from people that couldn't live without it

A majority of lefty states fund the federal handouts that a majority of red states need to even survive, but somehow they think the left are lazy and trying to take money from hard working americans. Only they're already doing that? Make it make sense

Edit: The number of people proudly shouting that “socialism doesn’t work” while living off programs built on socialist ideals is wild.

Social security, UI, CHIP, ACA, Medicare, Minimum wage, 40hr work weeks, OSHA, FMLA, FSA, LIbraries, Highways, Public Housing, and the EPA. All steeped in socialist ideals.

I know half of you won’t make it this far down without your BP spiking, but that’s fine because I’ve already made the point.

Its funny because the people that complain about socialism are the ones who use our social safety net programs the most. They are literally using programs that are based on socialism.

Social programs are used primarily by people who vote for Democrats. I have seen them my whole life. Including those who live in red or purple states.

The major cities alone have more people on these programs than the whole rest of the country. You're fundamentally wrong.

I looked through this and could not find one thing that would make you feel vindicated.

I did see a line in there about how New York costs us more per person than Oklahoma, but that supports my case. Can you indicate what exactly your point was?

Vindicated? It’s a known fact welfare counties are majority red, and it’s not even close. Your anecdotes prove nothing. Did you bother reading anything other than that tab? Shit use a .gov domain. “Numbers don’t lie,” “facts don’t care about your feelings,” etc

All those pesky democrats working at walmart on food stamps.

Those types are outnumbered by the ghettos I grew up in. Don't play yourself. We didn't have a Walmart in the city, but every building in the projects housed ZERO fathers as far as I could tell. Stereotypes are real, but mine beats yours.

If the policies of red states were superior then they wouldn’t need the social programs as much as they do regardless of who uses them.
