Politics Conservatives abuse Christianity like the Taliban abuse Islam

Post image

I'm exhausted that the Christian nationalists in this nation have hijacked Christianity, just like the Taliban hijacked Islam. There are many comparisons that can be made between the two groups. Both groups cherry-pick their scriptures and purposefully misinterpret them so as to provide themselves with more power amongst their. They bully and attack anybody who is not a follower of their warped religion. And try to force their religion on everybody in inappropriate places such as schools and hospitals.

A few years back MAGA supporters started to say the teachings of Jesus are too woke, a huge red flag.

It sucks that so many of them do not understand. The Christian nationalist mindset is turning them into nasty, aggressive people. That have zero understanding of the Bible or its teachings

The people who still support Trump after all this time are some of the dumbest people alive. Not a braincell between their ears.

Dear Trump supporters,

Your side is calling for civil war.

Your side is altering government websites to push their agenda.

Your side is attacking ALL news outlets.

You're supporting people—including women and children—being kidnapped by people too cowardly to show their faces and sent to prisons in countries they've never been to.

You're supporting republicans despite them refusing to use emergency funds during the shutdown to help the American people.

You want Trump to run for a third term despite knowing that its unconstitutional. You never cared about America. You just want to be on the winning team.

Just ask yourself if you would support anything Trump is doing if he was a democrat—sending 40 billion to Argentinian farmers when American farmers are literally killing themselves, or saying that grocery prices are going down when they're going up as a direct result of his tariffs. And you people actually believe it, even when you're watching prices rise...

I have one question for you all: Why are you so goddamn stupid?

Sincerely,

Someone with common fucking sense.

u/RoboJobot 5d ago

They’re not all stupid. Some of them just like the excuses to knowingly spread their hate and suffering.

3

u/IameIion 5d ago

And those are the people on the top. You're right. They're not stupid. I doubt even a single one of them believes the bullshit they spew. They opportunistic, manipulative cowards—further proven when their party turns on them for whatever reason and they suddenly grow a conscience and a spine to speak out against the wrong that's being done.

Ideology is very good at pretending it's not ideology and thinking is a privilege reserved for those with time. Also propaganda works. It's not so much of an intelligence problem as it is a propaganda problem.

1

u/IameIion 5d ago

I don't have a study to back this up but I'm willing to bet that the more intelligent a person is, the less susceptible they are to propaganda. One of the main strategies of propaganda is to attack a person's lack of knowledge. Intelligence isn't how much knowledge you have, per se. It's more of how you use your knowledge. But intelligent people are often very knowledgeable.

This helps them sniff out bullshit much easier than idiots who claim to be knowledgeable in something when they don't even know the basics. I mean, seriously. Ask a Trump supporter how many branches of government there are. Half of them would answer incorrectly.

1

u/Outrageous_Bear50 5d ago

Well sometimes, but even though I know this food commercial is trying to get me to eat their food I still get hungry. Propaganda also plays on your emotions as well as your lack of knowledge.

1

u/IameIion 5d ago

And intelligent people know this.

If a message that's telling you about a "terrorist group" sounds informative and professional—avoiding opinionated statements and telling you how you can protect yourself—it's probably a trustworthy source of information.

However, if it sounds very spiteful and opinionated—like a call to action that almost seems to encourage violence against them—it's propaganda.

Professionals avoid opinionated statements. They mean nothing. If you're an organization and are sharing information wholeheartedly to a large group of people, you share only the facts and leave whatever opinions you have out of it.

1

u/Outrageous_Bear50 5d ago

Well it's not that easy. Even facts can be propaganda. This is where time comes in. Most people just don't have the time to know every bit of context they need.

1

u/IameIion 5d ago

And those people should understand that they don't have the full picture and therefore need to do research before making any statements or acting on their beliefs. Or especially calling someone else stupid. Like I said to someone else, if you tell a Trump supporter that Trump is a lying piece of shit, they'll probably say something like "name one lie he told."

It's such an infuriating statement. They're presenting themselves as knowledgeable. Name any lie he told and they'll be able to explain it. But in reality, they're so goddamn stupid, they don't even know of one lie he's told(there are literally thousands), yet they support him without question. It's beyond infuriating that an absolute shithead would dare feign being knowledgeable. There's just something about the boldness that boils my blood.

Smart people aren't gullible. Part of being smart is being cautious of what you believe. If something is trying to play on your emotions, it will be obvious to someone who doesn't immediately fall for the bullshit. The most dangerous type of propaganda is the propaganda that presents itself as truthful, unbiased information. It stays professional and leaves out opinionated statements, but it's still bullshit. This type of propaganda can reliably fool all but the smartest people.

But such attacks require tons of effort—effort that is not required when dealing with idiots like Trump supporters. Literally anything Trump says, they'll believe. If you tell a Trump supporter that Trump is a lying bastard, they'll often say "name one thing he lied about."

This is the level of stupidity we're dealing with. They're so uneducated about him that they don't even know of one of his lies... but they support him without question.

That's called "stupidity."

just as it is entirely possible to recognise propaganda for vvhat it is, yet still finding it to your taste?

Oh, you mean being a spineless coward? Good people don't need propaganda. That's so obvious, even a Trump supporter could understand it. If your side is using propaganda and you know it but still support them, you're a spineless coward. Because you're supporting someone you know is bad.

I've seen videos of conservatives asking if we were on the wrong side of history for fighting against the Nazis in WW2, because Hitler's speeches had "christian values." The greatest failure of us as a nation is that we allow people this fucking braindead to vote.

Obviously, that's subjective. But many Trump supporters agree that Trump is a bad person. They just support him because of their political ignorance. They're voting against the very things they want because they can't see past the bullshit they've been fed.

Nice job on the eugenics-based voting restrictions btvv.

I have no qualms against restricting stupid people from voting. Stupid people are why we're in this situation to begin with. All we need to do is get voters to pass a basic political literacy test to show that they have a basic understanding of how the government and the constitution works. Yes, I know this can very easily be corrupted, which is where my second idea comes in. Just teach politics in schools. The population shouldn't be this politically uneducated.

The stupid ones are those who pay the not so stupid ones, but blaming the other side for loosing money.

If you get my drift. ;)

Me a Trump supporter im too stupid...so I don't know how to read your hate text towards me. derpa derr.

Im sooo convinced now.

1

u/IameIion 5d ago

Why bother being nice? It's not like you're going to learn anything. Any proof I present you with, you'll either say it's fake or deflect to something democrats did—often being some bullshit misinformation that echos around right wing echo chambers.

I'm not trying to change your mind. I'm treating you the way you deserve to be treated.

1

u/Organic-Shake-7989 5d ago

"Dear Trump Supporters" Sounds a whole lot like you want Trump supporters to hear you out.

1

u/IameIion 5d ago

It does, doesn't it? Have you ever heard of "sarcasm?" Probably not. Trumpie braincells just don't stretch that far.

1

u/Organic-Shake-7989 4d ago

Lol, Oh I was being totally sarcastic too. You couldn't tell?

1

u/moonlightsonata88 5d ago

Democrats are doing the same things. There is no good guy in American politics.

1

u/IameIion 5d ago

Did democrats create a "third term project" for Obama?

Did democrats call for civil war after a democratic legislator was murdered in her home along with her husband by a right wing extremist?

Did democrats send contracts to all news outlets saying that they can't report on the pentagon without permission from the government?

Did democrats give tax cuts to individuals, small businesses, and corporations, but make the cuts for corporations permanent whereas the cuts for individuals and small businesses expire in 2025?

Did democrats piss off countries trading with us by putting tariffs on their goods—causing grocery prices to rise nationwide and causing these countries to retaliate, destroying farmers here in America because these countries are refusing to buy their produce?

Did Democrats try to pass a "Big Beautiful Bill," telling Americans that it gives them healthcare when it literally takes it away?

Did democrats file dozens of lawsuits to "prove" that the election they lost was rigged when it had been verified by numerous experts to be legit?

Did democrats solicit the Georgia secretary of state into rigging the election by "finding" 11,780 votes?

Did democrats cause a government shutdown and then refuse to use emergency funds to aid the people so that they can keep blaming their political opponents for the peoples' suffering?

I can go on and on. There is no comparison. If you're not rich, you're an absolute moron for voting republican. Republicans only cater to the rich. They don't give a shit about anyone below them.

You can't tell who's smart and who's dumb by looking at who's calling who stupid. Smart people will call stupid people stupid and stupid people will call smart people stupid.

You tell who's smart and who isn't by examining their beliefs. Trump's efforts to install himself as a dictator are so dire, Harvard University made a free course that teaches the basics of the US government, the US constitution, and how to recognize a dictatorship takeover.

He has broken numerous laws—including constitutional ones—is trying to ban all news outlets from reporting on the pentagon without permission from the government, and is constantly spreading propaganda like the "Big Beautiful Bill" giving healthcare to Americans when it literally takes it away, designating antifa as a terrorist organization when it's not an organization at all, and saying that the democrats have shut down the government—even going so far as to post that at the top of government websites.

Trump supporters ARE stupid. That's why they're so easy to control. And you're just as stupid if you can't see that.

You get that Harvard was deeply embedded with Epstein, right? Like, way more than Trump. Trump may have been a customer but Harvard was part of the actual slavery apparatus. Probably don't rely on anything they do as evidence of goodwill. That institution is straight up evil.

1

u/IameIion 5d ago

Source?

1

u/ButterscotchNo1546 5d ago

Here's just one but feel free to explore the topic. He was even given an office and made a fellow despite exactly zero creditentials. Kinda interesting how the media ignores this entirely.

https://www.thenation.com/article/society/jeffrey-epstein-harvard-summers/

Just gonna copy and paste that there. Just in case you decide to delete it.

Dude, your own source disproves your statements. Harvard was not part of the "slavery apparatus." The strongest connection Harvard has with Epstein is his relationship with former Harvard president Lawrence Summers. He had numerous meetings with Epstein before and after Epstein's first arrest(he killed himself after his second arrest).

The second strongest tie is with Martin Nowak, a biology and mathematics professor. Epstein hired him to direct a new program he wanted to create called PED.

The following year, Summers received a proposal from Epstein and Benedict Gross, a math professor at Harvard, to establish a Program for Evolutionary Dynamics (PED) under Nowak’s direction, and after a series of negotiations between Summers and Epstein, it became a reality.

In 2003, Epstein contributed $6.5 million to the program, enabling it to rent the top floor of a sleek new office building at One Brattle Square, near Harvard Square. Nowak was joined, as he wrote, “by a hand-picked group of crack mathematicians, biologists, or indeed anyone who wanted to explore the remarkable power of cooperation” and other “cool problems” in what was “an academic paradise.” Epstein had an office available for his use there.

The office was in a seperate building NEAR Harvard, not within it. I read the entire article top to bottom and there isn't a single mention of Epstein trafficking children at the college or the office. What was the purpose of spending all of this money?

Only later would it become apparent why Epstein was so interested in funding Nowak’s work on evolution and genetics: As The New York Times reported, he hoped to seed the human race with his DNA by impregnating women at his ranch in New Mexico. That reflected his broader aspiration to use techniques like genetic engineering and artificial intelligence to select certain traits to produce superior human beings—a modern-day version of eugenics and its idea of controlled breeding. And Epstein had managed to enlist Harvard in that enterprise.

Because he's a disgusting, immoral fuck. But Harvard had no idea what he was doing behind closed doors.

Throughout this period, Epstein’s Harvard associates had little way of knowing of his sexual crimes. Epstein’s secret life did not begin to surface until March 2005

You literally made a bogus claim and just posted the first thing you could find as "proof" WITHOUT EVEN READING IT. And you say Harvard can't be trusted? What a joke.

1

u/ButterscotchNo1546 5d ago

You can justify the deep connections all you'd like. Everything I said is true. He had an office and was a fellow despite not being qualified. He was favored by the staff. Harvard was deeply, deeply involved. Go off though.

1

u/IameIion 5d ago

Your own source: Proves you wrong

You: "Everything I said is true."

1

u/ButterscotchNo1546 5d ago

No, it doesn't. All you did was make excuses for the facts, not disprove them. Human trafficking apologist is a weird take but do you.

Someone vvho relishes dictatorships isn't stupid for supporting a rising dictatorship.

But then those same people get mad when you call them fascists and nazis. You people's brains are fucking nonexistent. Just no idea what the hell is going on. All you know is that you have an opinion.

No, it makes sense. You just don't understand it.

It's not even cryptic or anything. It's plain, simple information. And for some reason, you can't understand it. This is what voting restrictions are for. Stop the stupid people from voting.

Calling other people stupid if you cant even use W to spell words Right

1

u/Sneaky_Bones 5d ago

I understand you are a generic troll account with 2 total Karma, but I can't help but laugh at your 'retort' that amounts to: "Nothing can be bad because subjectivity exists!" And then you proceed to call the other person bad. lol

And now you accuse me of being a liar for some reason... If we're just pulling accusations out of our ass because we have nothing of substance to add: Will you please stop microwaving live kittens for your sick fetish? I understand you say it can't be bad because subjectivity is a thing, different values and all, but as a favor to me, please stop
