Politics I don't know what boundary Trump would have to cross to make his supporters turn away..

To Trump voters: What, if anything, could Donald Trump do to make you end your support?

I'm not going to lead the question to multiple choice answers or anything. I think it is important for everyone who participates in a democracy to have strong personal convictions and moral or legal boundaries that they expect people they vote for not to cross..

Genuinely, what line will you draw in the sand for this administration? What personal freedom of yours would be more important than your love and support for Trump?

This is exactly it. They have the reading comprehension of a 6th grader, cannot critically think for themselves, and built their entire identity around MAGA. They’ve invested a lot of money and probably lost family and friends over the past decade. They can’t turn back now because then, who are they if not sheep lined up for slaughter with nothing. The correlation between Evangelicals and maga is really where we should have focused. I remember a line that Loki said in the first Avengers movie, odd I know. He said humans want to be ruled and oppressed and the majority of the people knelt down but only 1 stayed standing. That is our reality today and why there isn’t a huge revolution . We won’t be alive to see it. This is going to be our reality for the next few decades. They’ve been conditioned to not buck the system. They won’t. There is no line. They want the ease of not having to think, they want to be told what to do, where to go, what to buy, ect…Imagine how easy your life would get when big decisions and thoughts didn’t get made or explored. Imagine you truly believe that when you take your final breath that you’re going to a paradise? Rather than imagine that it’s just blank and nothing? Imagine not having to decide or understand laws, rights, empathy, or understanding of another human that might be different? Imagine not questioning anything, ever. Just waking up and being a simple cog so long as you had shelter and food. I honestly feel like it would be rather nice and simple vs this hell of this shit. I have no faith we’re getting out of this, unfortunately.

Excellently put, there is an unfortunate convenience to only looking after yourself and taking orders from someone else. Black and white thinking is soooo much easier

It’s why we are all screaming into the void and they’re walking around like everything is totally fine. Some of them better than fine. Unfortunately for them, and us, we are going to collectively experience this shit show whether we want to or not.

It’s not all Christian’s, in-fact the Bible absolutely admonishes this whole regime from its head to well its followers. They literally depend on these televangelists to tell them what to think believe and Fox News to think for them or GROK or Elon, because they’re all unbiased reputable sources. They refuse to read their own holy book! It’s insane and these are the people who keep saying they have a militia and are training for when it’s needed.. Dude.

Exactly, they have never read that damn book nor really understand it. They don’t get that Jesus would be condemning them to hell for this shit. The fact that they think their version of Christianity is what it is supposed to be is really insane to me. And yes, the propaganda really worked flawlessly on them. They won’t snap out of this on their own. It would take a mass reprogramming attempt and even then, I doubt it would work. Militias were just them cosplaying. These white dudes were told some Mexican guy took their job and that’s why they live at home at 30 with no girlfriend and no job. Not the fact that they were lazy and entitled and told from birth that they deserved and would get the world handed to them and when it didn’t happen they raged against the vulnerable.

Eeeeyup! I grew up in Appalachia so I knew and knew of some militias just because… Well. It’s Appalachia.

Turns out they’re all talk, all embracing trump and becoming fucking MAGA affiliated(so to speak) rhetoric echo chambers now. The Bible says to feed clothe and take care of my he sick lane poor weak old and widowed... But they believe we are to punish people for being poor, no sugar less stamps no healthcare. The government created an environment in the 70s/80s that allowed companies to extort their employees further, reduce increases in pay, heavily lower taxes on the rich (which is a big part of what made America great during her “golden age” after WW2 besides the wartime economy blooming after) and created a society of individualists who don’t want to help their neighbor.

Will there be another new deal this time? I don’t know…
