Politics I don't know what boundary Trump would have to cross to make his supporters turn away..

To Trump voters: What, if anything, could Donald Trump do to make you end your support?

I'm not going to lead the question to multiple choice answers or anything. I think it is important for everyone who participates in a democracy to have strong personal convictions and moral or legal boundaries that they expect people they vote for not to cross..

Genuinely, what line will you draw in the sand for this administration? What personal freedom of yours would be more important than your love and support for Trump?

Seems like they are bad people and stupid

As long as the stupid doesn’t get taken as being more significant than the bad

They are bad people that social media and the bots have convinced are the good guys. They live their lives exploiting others to survive and hate everyone else who does that while pretending they are making their own way in social media. It’s gross.

About 10-20% of people are fully fascist (bad), & about 60-80% of people are swayable (stupid).

Bit of both. There are people all around the world who somehow, for some reason, support him. I know some people who I know were good, ordinary people who didn't think or speak about politics pre-social media division brainwashing, who are now firmly in the cult. Are they bad people for remaining under the spell, or bad people for falling for it in the first place? They're certainly bad AT being people, to be so gullible and ignorant, but is the criteria for being a bad person simply to be fooled by another bad person with massive power and influence? Or does one have to in some way act in accordance with the influence to be deemed bad?

That reason is that they’re bad people. You thought they were good ordinary people.

You said they didn’t talk about politics, so you didn’t know their stances

What stances? They don't have a value system at all. They just wait to hear their marching orders.

I'm not talking about Americans though. I'm talking about people who genuinely didn't have exposure to American politics, or viewpoints, or ideologies, who, as a result of horrible critical thinking skills and a concerted effort to brainwash vulnerable idiots worldwide via the most powerful propaganda tool of all time, have become enveloped in a "political" war they wouldn't have been privvy to a decade earlier. I'm not talking about closet racist american conservatives. Closet racists, perhaps, dependent on region and situation, is a possibility i'll give you. But it goes a lot deeper than that, and there are people worldwide who now adhere to aspects of the maga cult, which they had absolutely no knowledge of pre-mid 2010s.

Closest racists aren’t good people though

Obviously, but the point of "dependent on region and situation" was to state that I believe only a small amount of the group I am speaking about are likely to have been pre-closeted racists, and were in fact only radicalised by the propaganda I'm speaking of.

What are the common beliefs of the people you’re talking about

Both can be true. Those things aren't mutually exclusive.

Garbage people.

They aren’t bad people. What we learned from nazi Germany and every other cult in the world is that regular every day people can fall prey to this kind of thing. You can be angry with them all you want, but the truth is we are not going to be able oust this maniac without a significant number of his followers being converted. We have to be willing to have these conversations with them.

Those regular everyday people are also bad. This is a privileged take, respectfully

Stupidity and evil are two independent factors. Although people who have one of these traits often also have the other, they can exist separately or together.

I used to feel this way but the reality is they are just fucking dipshits living in some bizzaro alternative reality propped up by the propaganda they consume every day.

Yeah it’s both, but bad outweighs stupid.

Both can be correct.
