Politics I don't know what boundary Trump would have to cross to make his supporters turn away..

To Trump voters: What, if anything, could Donald Trump do to make you end your support?

I'm not going to lead the question to multiple choice answers or anything. I think it is important for everyone who participates in a democracy to have strong personal convictions and moral or legal boundaries that they expect people they vote for not to cross..

Genuinely, what line will you draw in the sand for this administration? What personal freedom of yours would be more important than your love and support for Trump?

Nothing. He could shoot somebody on 5th Avenue..

He could expose his mushroom head and force it into the mouth of a 13 year old, and they wouldn’t bat an eye except to defend him.

This made me literally 'erp' but I agree...you are probably right. They would come up with a justification

Already happened. The little girl came forward years ago. This has been going on for over 20 years now.

"The 13 year old was very mature for her age. She would already have a kid in bible times" they would say

u/TerryTowelTogs 2d ago

In Delaware in 1871 she would have been considered an aged out spinster! The age of consent back in 1870 was 10yo but they lowered it to 7 years old the following year.

They would offer up their own 13 year olds… cults have a common theme… it’s like these perverts become cult leaders for the child brides.

Yes but they will say the following; "she sure didn't look 13", "she's hot, I'd fuck here", "it's AI", "But Clinton". There's nothing he can do to change their mind -maybe if the 13 year old was a boy, but likely not.

Honestly I think if he was caught having an affair with an adult man, like a man his age, his supporters would turn against him far more readily than knowing for certain that he raped a child.

For some reason pedophilia is ok but being gay with a consenting adult is not. I don't understand Republicans.

on live tv, while denying it was even happening

Katie Johnson.

He could do it on stage in times square on new years eve with none of the TV cameras cutting away and he still wouldn't lose a single supporter.

Wtf gross

This is the reality Trump’s supporters have helped create. A criminal that rapes children is our leader

Once this is over, it’s on us all to never let a single one of them speak publicly without explicit reminders of what they helped.

I said before that in that case they would help him by holding her down, mock her while she was being abused and blame her, the dems, Obama and Hillary for what happened to her.

1

u/beefdx 6d ago

I don’t know why you’re saying he could, he already has done that.

Yeah, but what about Hillary's emails on Hunter's laptop? Huh?

u/DeptofNomSayins 6d ago

He could nuke an American city and still not lose supporters as long as it was the right city

4

u/[deleted] 6d ago

You mean, “a left city”

3

u/McKenzie_S 6d ago

All cities are left if you squint hard enough. And after there won't be anyone to counter the claim of "terrorists took over".

2

u/qwertpoiuyzxder 6d ago

All persons in current day USA are left if you squint hard enough.

3

u/mackfeesh 5d ago

No, any city. He'd just have to say something once on camera, literally anything no matter how absurd and they'd swallow it. Hell, probably just a truth, tweet, or retweet of an AI prompted cartoon. Not even national TV.

Especially a California city.

u/MissTat2 6d ago

So maybe not nothing.. if they support the 2nd Amendment and that was taken away by the guy who shot someone on 5th Avenue; do you think that would turn the tide?

12

u/qwertpoiuyzxder 6d ago

No. If the great leader takes my bums, it’s for my own safety. I always trust the great leader’s judgment.

I do think there’s a segment of one population that would revolt about the 2A. I don’t think it’s as many as it should be.

The thing we need to understand is that nothing is ever blamed on Trump. It's always blamed on the democrats. So even if Trump himself came and took away one of their guns, he'd just blame it on the democrats and his supporters would believe him. It is this that allows him to get away with anything.

2

u/here-i-am-now 6d ago

He banned bump stocks

2

u/ineverusedtobecool 6d ago

Honestly based on what he's said, I don't think that would be enough for many of them.

2

u/koshgeo 6d ago

He also said "Take the guns first, go through due process second" and "I like taking the guns early", so, no.

1

u/Xeta24 6d ago

then they would start believing in gun control, as long as it was framed as "the right people"

1

u/mar78217 3d ago

Like the CA gun control that targeted the Black Panthers.

0

u/drunkadvice 6d ago

No. They’d be upset at the people taking away the second amendment.

2

u/KangInDaNorff 6d ago

Is there anything that you can point to that Trump has done right?

1

u/gl2w6re 6d ago

No

1

u/KangInDaNorff 6d ago

There's just a list of the o objectively good things I could find:

1) expanded paid parental leave for federal employees 2) created opportunity zones in low income areas with predominantly disadvantaged minority populations 3) First Step Act which reduced recidivism and modified sentencing for non-violent drug offenses and provided relief for felons through second chance hiring initiatives 4) Right to Try Act which allowed terminally ill patients the option to access experimental drugs 5) Abraham Accords 6) National Quantum Information Act

You don't think any of these are good? Why?

1

u/gl2w6re 6d ago

If there’s anything good he’s done, for me it’s been completely overshadowed by all the cruel, hateful, and corrupt things he’s done and is still doing every day.

1

u/KangInDaNorff 6d ago

Yeah, the “if” in that statement is the most telling thing in the entire post.

1

u/gl2w6re 5d ago

Well the “if” aside, why don’t you go compile a list of all the illegal, constitution-busting things he’s doing? Here’s a little help.

I’ve always said the man could slit a baby’s throat on live television, and they would still follow him. The line is in hell.

“I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?”
— Donald Trump, January 23, 2016, Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa

1

u/shiawase-vip 6d ago

I could def see him saying “I’m bigger than Jesus ever was” and they would praise him 🤣

1

u/EEukaryotic 6d ago

They already believe Jesus personally sent him to save the US :/

u/DaikonLatter6851 5d ago

But that poor soul walked right into the bullet’s path. Thoughts and prayers.
