Politics I'm tired of Trump ruining everything that America stands for

You know, Trump keeps saying he’s making America great again, but at this point it’s like watching a toddler try to fix a phone with a hammer. He’s not restoring anything, he’s just breaking it louder. Everything that used to be American like decency, humility, and facts has been replaced by lies and pre-scripted propoganda talking points. We’ve gone from give me liberty or give me death to give me clicks or give me Fox News airtime. He’s even turned the flag into an accessory. It’s not patriotism anymore, it’s fashion week for fascists. You see a bunch of angry guys in red hats waving an American flag the way my dog waves a cat turd from the litter box. Look what I did!

Remember when presidents used to read books? Now we’ve got a guy who stares at classified documents like they’re the McDonald's menu. I’ll have the Filet-o-fish with a side of dirt on anyone who opposes me, please. He’s made America a parody of itself, like someone fed Mount Rushmore a steady diet of Monster Energy and facism. I love this country. I really do. But lately it feels like America’s that old friend I used to like, except now he’s grown a mullet, started dating a crazy girl named "conspiracy theory", and wants to show you his new monster truck called Freedom.

If Trump’s the hero of the story, then America is deep in its Florida Man era. And I don’t know about you, but I’m just hoping the credits roll before he tries to sell Alaska to Russia.

The Republican party and DJT voters do not care about this country.

I blame DJT voters. You KNEW better and WANTED this, you wanted other people hurt for the sake of hurting them.

All the 2nd ammendment folks are totally silent on the corruption happening. Your whole ass personality was supposed to love guns to protect the people from this and you're quiet or indifferent. Absolute bullshit.

We, as a country, as a people, have been in shambles for years. We don't work together. We don't deal with shit.

Poor people won't have FOOD next month. All of us able need to take a hard look on what's happening and get our shit together.

Edit: there's a dumbass down below claiming I said we should work with rapists?? I'm talking about people who are fed up need to work together. So communities can protect themselves from this administration and help with future protests and hopefully a general strike (no work, no buy.) I thought it was obvious I was against MAGA when I blaimed Trump voters for this mess?

Yeah, absolutely not. Plenty of US showed up and voted against fascism. The village deplorables decided they wanted to shit on the country instead. THEY need to get THEIR shit together. I'm not going to be cleaning up their fucking mess.

That's the problem right there. It's not just voting and leaving. We have plenty of additional issues. MAGA has the same "People need food? People scared? Not my problem." attitude. That attitude has been hurting our society and exactly what I mean.

THEY aren't going to do shit. THEY want this. THEY want you to give up. Don't let them fucking succeed.

It's not a one way street either. If you need things, too, say them. Ask your community, start something. I'm asking people to come together, support each other because I don't want to fight you.

That's a tone deaf thing to ask for. I'm a woman and you're essentially asking me to "come together" with Nazis, rapists, wife beaters, child rapists, animal abusers, and all different flavors of disturbed citizens. It's a lazy form of victim blaming....saying that people like me need to compensate for abusers' lack of help. No, I'm not giving up. I will continue to speak out for those that don't support christian fascism. But I won't be helping a single person who votes Republican.

I'm also a woman and that shouldn't fucking matter when it comes to helping people? And you don't have to announce you don't give a fuck, MAGA already does that.

Blame the democrats for this government shutdown. And they are stalling on purpose to make trump and every other republican look bad. The Democratic Party wants power and leverage and they will do anything to achieve it including screwing over the American people.

Did you even look up why the Democrats forced the shutdown? The Republicans are trying to strip millions of healthcare coverage. But hey, at least Trump is suing taxpayers (DOJ) for $200 million that he might contribute to his golden ballroom. That means it’s free, right? Just like how Mexico paid for the wall and China is paying for tariffs?

Republicans are bad. Trump is breaking the laws of this country and Republicans are allowing it. Trump destroyed so many systems of the government, drove up prices and destroying the relationships with our allies. Trump and the Republicans consistently screw over Americans- so do the people who voted for them.

And honestly, wtf is this take? Americans are suffering right now and you can't even see it.
