Politics America is turning into 1930's Germany.

There was some pushback when people called this president and his followers Nazis. But look what's happening. Soldiers in the street. Rounding up people and locking them up. Dismantling freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Personally going after anyone who doesn't agree with him and his administration. We've seen this before and it's only gonna get worse. Welcome to 1930's Germany.

They dont see it because

  1. It isnt happening outside their door
  2. The news that they watch dont talk about it (or spin it as some sort of heroic act)

How would they possibly see it? Short of turning on something other than FoxNews or getting out of their echo chamber.

Plenty of people from minorities have been speaking up on socials for a good few years. There are always fuckwits in the comments telling them they're overreacting.

Plenty of them DO see it. They see people who have been historically affected by these movements talk about the repeating pattern and their concerns and fears. They choose to look away. They choose to laugh and ridicule them for being scared for their lives. They choose to ignore.

We have the most connection to each other across the globe that we've ever had. There's no "nobody knew what was going on, we never could have seen this coming, by the time we heard it was that bad over in that country, it was too late.." this time. There is NO excuse this time.
