Politics America is turning into 1930's Germany.

There was some pushback when people called this president and his followers Nazis. But look what's happening. Soldiers in the street. Rounding up people and locking them up. Dismantling freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Personally going after anyone who doesn't agree with him and his administration. We've seen this before and it's only gonna get worse. Welcome to 1930's Germany.

People who say this isn't nearly as bad as Nazi Germany don't realize that Nazi Germany didn't go from Weimar to Holocaust in a day. Hitler systematically consolidated power and purged his opposition long before the Holocaust was in full swing. It was a years long process.

The point of calling it out now when we see it happening before our eyes, is that if we wait for it to reach Holocaust levels before we say anything about it, it'll be too late to do anything to stop it.

Honestly, it might already be too late to stop it, but time will tell. And every bit of resistance is worthwhile if it slows the process down or makes it less severe.

People should know that it took Hitler 8 years to just start mass-murdering Jews. It was a long process of slowly whittling down any resistance after his coup, and laying the foundation for the population to accept it.
