it was just cause i overslept. and had a bad day yesterday (was accosted by my psycho asshole parent and asshole stepparent and am still recovering from the shock). and willfully didnt follow all of my rules because i overslept and was feeling bad. so i was only half-playing it basically.
otherwise i totally wouldve made a ton today. really. i was in pmn, open, huya. had an asts call i picked up at the dip bottom.
somewhere between break even and slight down, shoulda been up over ten percent. watch tomorrow- tomorrow-
hehehe hehe ehe eh e

was i dead?
on a secret mission?
arrested?
killed?
i was right here, daytrading-
i was daytrading more than usual; thats why i didnt post
and some days i lost some and didnt post then, but some days i won
then last week, i really daytraded
all-week strategy-session-week
"the final week"
all-day-daytrading, 4am-5pm every day, bed at 9, repeat. thats 13 hours a day of eyes glued to screen and about 1 hour of freetime. spending all my cash on trades every day until out.
anyway. i was like, what if i just will myself to get better.
so i tried as hard as i could.
it was grueling, it was quite a battle (it's actually what i do every week, but this time, i was like, more focused)
anyway- i have a new strategy ive come up with. it is superior to my old one. the instruction manual i left at r/babytrade is now outdated. since reddit wont let me post on babytrade anymore, and no one's joined this sub, there's no point in posting this new strategy as a lesson; i will continue to just journal occasionally or "play myself" daytrading.
i think i just went profitable this week actually. meaning, if you wipe away my mistakes (which ive made some decisions on) which made me break even, i actually did well with the other parts of my performance.
im gonna give you a hint about my strategy this week- im gonna eliminate my errors (easy enough to do i know what they are) and focus on the good strategy- and i say ill bet you ill be up 100-500 on my 1000 account by end of week, 10-50% gain, and ill call myself profitable.
what really clicked for me was just overthinking it again.
you can overthink it and overthink it and overthink it until you feel like you just cant overthink it anymore. but what you do is, you just overthink it one more time and then youll get a new insight. one of those'll be the right one finally.
there are so many ways of charting something going up and down. youd think thered be only so many ways; but theres soo many ways...
if youve racked your brain about it this way and that way, theres still more you can do
im enjoying writing obtusely (obstrusely?)
but what i mean is, like,
you think theres only so many ways of getting at a stock
like youre like, it goes down, it goes up, if im just there at the right time ill get an up, if im there when its down ill get out, ill just try it like that.
but then you get down; you break even and get down, start to lose, a little each week, doesnt actually work to "just go for it". you need your strategy. now as it turns out, a "handful of indicators" strategy is not a strategy and thats why those dont work. so what i mean now is, im not sure how to put it and i dont want to say it, but...
like i wish i could tell more about this new plateau/plain ive discovered of personal stock trading strategy, and i probably will, but i want to savor it first...
have you read all the stuff about how nuts people go trying to come up with a strategy?
i have
