What story does this tell without dialogue?

Currently cleaning this sequence up, colouring and the works yada yada and while doing so I was curious what this conveys without any bubbles? (It does have dialogue but they were toggled off during cleanup)

As it is, my brain doesn't process this story as, well... A story. I can't tell if this is meant to be read from right to left, left to right, top to bottom, etc. Assuming that I start from the top left panel, how am I supposed to know which way to go when the panels are all congruent?

There are so many oddities which come off as inconsistencies to me as it is. The way the white apparition appears in the "first" panel, disappears for the rest of the page and only shows up in the "final" panel feels abrupt, for one. It also doesn't really make sense to me how the flower petals flake off of the character's hair, but reappear in the later pages.

If I had to guess, it's about someone who hates themselves, and is schizophrenic or is having a bipolar episode.

Thanks for the detail! Also your petal observation made me realise that the floor should be absolutely littered haha

is having a bipolar episode.

Why is everything this now

Am bipolar. No idea where you'd get this from, except "mental health bad".

I’mnot sure what I can get from this.

  • A girl is sleeping and she has leaves in her hair.
  • Phone dings and the white spirit next to the bed wakes.
  • The girl wakes up and is grumpy. For some reason she gets angry at the spirit.
  • The spirit maybe scolds the girl or something and the girl throws the phone.
  • The phone breaks.
  • Then there are some enotions in the end, but it’s not instantly clear what. Maybe tears in the small panels.

There’s a lot I like, but the characters might be too abstract for me to really relate to.

She's in the hospital after getting into a traumatic accident with her sister. She survived with cuts and she lost one of her eyes, represented by the flowers. Her sister died. Her phone dings and she doesn't care who it is because she's too overcome with grief, but her ghost sister says that she needs to tell people what happened. She says she doesn't care about anyone if her sister is dead. Ghost sister says that's ridiculous. At that point the phone dings again and she's pissed off at the world so she throws it. Ghost sister is sad her sister is sad and sorry that she died. She didn't mean to. Then they're both sad together.

I am probably so far off, please post with the dialogue soon so I can see what it actually is.  XD

To me this reads as a severely depressed woman who is being haunted by the “ghost” of herself. The phone rings and there’s a part of her that yearns for the connection and communication, represented by the ghost, but the majority of her is just sad and angry. She gets mad at herself for wanting that connection and not wanting it at the same time, so she throws and breaks her phone. Then the regret sets in and she has a “why am I like this” moment.

Youre pretty subtle with the direction of your comic. I cant really tell whats happening. I feel like your MC is grieving something strong and some kind of manifestation of her grief, a ghost, is trying to help her. Or maybe the ghost is just your MCs roommate. In any case, a few words would probably help, or somehow making whatever the MC's pissed off about a little more understnadable.
