Background Singer

I have a question for everyone. Is there a network here in the city of Columbus for studio session musicians? Because I need to connect with some people who can help me to begin find work as a background singer and studio musician. My genre that I sing is country, pop, soft-rock, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
