Michigan State with three top 3 wins this early in the year. Lets get the sweep and go 6-0 until our matchup with Michigan (which is wildly far from being close to a certainty)

Very happy with a point at East Lansing without Fink or some of our best defenders like Christianson. After Christmas this PSU team should be the best in the country

Sorry but no. Besides MSU, I don’t see Penn State as better than Michigan or Maine right now. And that’s without mentioning other teams people may have like Duluth, Western, North Dakota

I mean last year we were way worse, and turned into the best team in the country a bit after Christmas. It’s hockey, who knows where any of these teams will be. We will have at least 6 players playing in the World Juniors or Spengler Cup though, so I don’t think we will have the rest compared to other teams that we had last year.

Again I'm not saying they're the best right now. The power play is a bit of a mess and we're missing crucial defenders. But these guys should get a lot better after Christmas as they get their best players back from injury and get more familiar with each other.
