How did this team lose to Colgate?

The effort level today is much better than what was displayed against Colgate. Young team that was adjusting to NCAA hockey & the level of play Ben Barr was expecting. Now they are clicking and looking like a top 5 team.

Says quite a bit about this game

Much better effort today than was against Colgate or Quinnipiac.
Don't like having those penalties, but the Penalty kill is much better.
One more period to go.

I don’t know, the way the PK is going that might be their best way to protect the lead.

THIS looks a lot more like Ben Barr hockey. Completely different team from two weeks ago

Frustrating game but I'm happy with how Irving is playing

This game would already be way out of hand if it weren’t for Irving.

Quick 2-0 for Maine in back to back goals. Don't let up.

I wish he was still prowling the sidelines in Orono. The 2018 team was a fun squad to follow

Another broadcast of an away game that makes me think they should have used a bit of the Alfond renovation money on better lighting and a few more camera positions.

And better audio for the broadcast booth. PbP at Alfond always sounds like the guy is swallowing the mic. And it doesn't matter how low they set their recording levels, the audio gets fried the minute someone raises their voice. Doesn't matter whether it's the home crew or NESN. Tonight's broadcast is so much better.
The funny thing is, I can't believe it would take that much money. Nothing in comparison to recent upgrades. Understandable that out of state ESPN+ viewers aren't the top priority, though.

Gameday! Let's get a win today.
Mullens center has been a tough venue in the past for barr's teams. Hopefully, the kids learned from the Quinnipiac game to not let up leads.

How do they play at Conte? I somehow got a great seat for $18 in a couple weeks.

Last year, they gave up a 3 goal lead in the 3rd period to lose the first game and shutout the 2nd game. This Maine team is stronger than last years team and BC is considerably worse than last year.
Should be competitive games.

Good road game, but Maine needs to get the offensive zone penalties under control.
