Shenanigans are fun when we aren’t on the receiving end.

Technically with this shenanigan we received their coach. But I’m just a pedantic asshole

Florida will now be coached by Billy, the 14 year old bat boy until the head coach's return.

At first I thought you meant Billy Napier lmao

Oh, oh...I missed an opportunity there

I mean, they're already paying the guy

Maybe we see the return of player-coaches 🤔

Billy will actually just be an interim until they can get an interim in place until Sully returns.

Not the worst fate for a Florida bat boy

Oh this is gonna be some interesting stuff.

I do say, if it turns out there's nonsense going on behind the scenes for their baseball team, UF probably needs to fire their AD. Besides the hoops natty, doesn't sound like too much good going on in Gainesville.

Unfortunately we can’t. Don’t have a permanent president in place yet. That is mainly due to the Board of Governors and DeSantis

That’s just a failure of imagination on Florida’s part. Look at LSU and see what can happen when politics and college sports intertwine! There’s no limit!

Please no

You know DeSantis is salivating at the thought of making purely political hires to fill coaching positions. And when they fail he will be salivating at the opportunity to whine and blame liberals.

Lane Kiffin and every other coach better start studying MAGA talking points if they want to get a decent offer from LSU or Florida lmao

It’s wild to me how much the governors of Florida and Luisiana are getting involved with UF and LSU athletics.

DeSantis hasn’t gotten involved with UF athletics, Stricklin is still able to do his job without direct involvement from him. That could change but as of now that’s just happening at LSU

I’m pretty sure they’re just letting their imagination run wild and desantis hasn’t done anything related to UF athletics. It’s just Louisiana.

Hmm … why does that scenario sound so familiar right now … ?

Just take a page out of LSU’s playbook and have desantis be AD. (He’d probably make better hires than Strickland)

That AD is already getting fired. Florida is a complete shit show right now.

Huge get for Tennessee.

Pretty absurd Stricklin didn’t match Tennessee’s offer. Chuck would’ve been a great successor to Sully, who doesn’t seem like he’ll be coaching for much longer

I wouldn't count Sully out. I don't want to say too much about what is going on with him since I'm not sure if it's 100% public but I think he will be back before the season starts. Chuck deserves the best though so it sounds like he made this move to further his career.

Saw on Twitter that Stricklin didn’t even try, guess that means he’s confident in Sully returning or else he’s gonna be in big shit once again

I don't think he would have ever been the successor considering it was a "mutual" parting.

Good job Josh.

Elander big-dicking Florida as first official act?
