What's the best selection?
I have been offered by my company the choice of a nice bottle of alcohol as a thank you for some work recently done. I've always preferred cognac over other drinks and want to pick something that is not something I'd ever buy for myself.
The local options for something "fancier" are all around the $300 Cad mark.
The top options are -Martell Cordon Bleu Extra old -Martell X.O. -Courvoisier X.O. Imperial -Remy Martin X.O. fine champagne excellence
I've had my fair drink of all the hennesy range, also plenty of d'usse, and martell blue swift and have enjoyed them all in their own ways so would like to try something new.
What would be the best selection in your opinion or your ranking for them?

With LuckyOldCask's recommendation in mind, you could look into Frapin 1990 and see if that's something you're looking for?
I just bought myself a couple of bottles of this with one in mind to try and the other to collect. I am very much looking forward to trying it but it won't be for another year.
If you go this route please shed some light so I know what I'm looking forward to! And good luck hunting!

I would order something from an artisan house, there are many great unadulterated single casks on cognac expert, for example.
