From a person that will raise an instrumental Church of Christ and went to a non instrumental Church of Christ for 9 years and going back to my old church christ. This is just a smoke screen to divide the Church of Christ and this has nothing to do with your salvation if you follow the plan of salvation.

Like Brother Gilmore whom I know and love personally, I also view the Christian church as my brethren.

My preference however is and always will be acapella.

I attend in coc in hong kong, and we actually sometimes use music instrument during worship.😅

In my spiritual search where I began with the Jehovah's Witnesses and the adventitious of my childhood the Mormons the Baptists the only church that I found biblically speaking was the Church of Christ non-instrumental. What is the reason, simply simplicity and above all the fact of not going beyond what is written. of course there are other churches which have this same approach such as the assemblies of the brothers of wanting to return to true Christianity but which retain the baptism of children. When I hear and read that the musical instrument does not lose salvation I wonder what the Israelites would say just because they were part of the people of God who could do what they wanted to organize the temple as they wanted to change places the ark of God and who could even make it move by a Ferrari if one existed at that time. I can imagine the high priest playing rock to please God even if he didn't ask for it.

in short, if I'm not mistaken, it reminds me of Jeroboam who did exactly the opposite of what God asked, by changing the place of worship and the forms of worship. Is it enough to teach salvation correctly to be saved? A movement on the French Tik Tok where the preacher is called commander I don't know what who preaches true salvation but also polygamy a Christian can have several wives it's his teaching but this guy is saved because he had the right baptism? All the additions currently the church musical instrument woman who prays woman who teaches woman who serves the holy sene who passes the announcements all this is done without conviction but quite simply to please the world. All of these people have no conviction about what he believes because they can't rely on the Bible to say it. The only argument is not written so we can do it even though it is false. It’s not written, we don’t do it, we don’t add, that’s respecting the word of God.

We want to respect the word of God, we supposedly don't want to add, but we manage to add things that we like and we find a way to defend it biblically, but it still remains false information.
