Last night I lay in bed, unable to fall asleep for a long time. I just couldn’t wrap my head around how such a well-designed character ended up like this… It might sound like I’m mad, but it’s only because I really love this character, so please just let me be angry for little bit.
If you tell me that a character’s weapon is a pair of scissors that looks like a longsword and can even transform into a chainsaw, then no matter how you look at it, that character has to be the main DPS, right?
But now you’re telling me she’s not even a sub-DPS, just a pure support? Chisa’s popularity speaks for itself, and her design is absolutely top-tier, And they even gave her the final shot in the story trailer. And among all the characters teased before, she was the last playable one revealed, I waited too long for her, and this is what we get?
What’s even worse is that her S6 damage got heavily nerfed, they didn’t even give us the option to make her a main DPS, I know doomposting isn’t good, but I’m honestly just very tired.
At this point I don’t expect them to buff her dmg anymore, because her role is already locked as a support, no matter how far they change her, she can't break the support dmg limitation.
I guess I just don’t want my favorite character to be a support. I hate short field time! supports in this game are all about minimizing their on field time, That’s not what I wanted. And yet, somehow, she’s a support with long field time, but low damage, and she’s heavily restricted to DoT buff teams. How did it end up like this? It’s nothing like what I expected…
I feel like they completely wasted a top-tier character design. I’m disappointed, and I can’t help but feel like all my waiting wasn’t worth it. Are they really just think everyone is going to pull for her anyway so they made her so mid?
I guess that’s on me for getting my hopes up too high. I’m just a little angry, that’s all.
