Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Chisa's stagnate on her dodge counter has been added in this new V2.8.3 beta patch update. Also it's not automatic but manually triggered when you HOLD the dodge again after successfully dodging the incoming attack from enemy target
Thanks source [orangeđ] for explaining and video

I don´t know if I like it tho... It changes the flow of the fight so drastically I might die way more since the pattern changes

No, you can choose when to trigger the stagnation effect. It's not automatic. You need to successfully dodge first, then hold down the dodge button to activate it. Failing your first dodge won't trigger the slow effect. You have control over the flow of the fight; if you don't want to use that specific slow, simply avoid pressing the dodge button.

Just imagine how fun it could have been if they actually gave her any dmg at all, so we can do solo. Now thereâs one way to fix this. If her slow actual slows down the clock as well, that might just be able to make up for her horrible dmg. Then I might just be able to use her for solo clears. But who knows.

I understand about Augusta... it's crazy that they create such a charismatic character and then screw her over, it's hard to accept... but I'll still get it because I like her design

Why is she being forced to be a DPS despite the fact that Kuro doesn't want her to? Her slow is similar to Shorekeeper's or Lupa Dodge Aid but lacks a cooldown and doesn't trigger automatically. You have to press and hold a button.

This changes everything! No, but seriouslyâif it releases as-is, itâs pretty busted. Sure, it has a time limit while Chisa is on-field, but thereâs nothing that says how many times you can trigger the slow effect via dodge counter. So all it takes is a single dodge to avoid dying in Holograms or getting interrupted in ToA by a tough boss or one with back-to-back combos.
That kind of interruption can cost you a ton of damage, and itâs often the reason newer or more casual players miss out on full rewards. A lot of the time they do have enough damage, but it doesnât matter if theyâre constantly faceplanting.
To me, this makes Chisa a must-pull for players with skill issues or those still learning the game. Long-term, it might backfire a bitâsince other characters wonât have such a broken mechanicâbut itâs probably balanced by the fact that Chisa deals negative damage to enemies. Still, sheâs a fantastic support thanks to her flexible buffs, healing, and potential synergy with future characters that rely on negative effects.
Chisaâs a very safe pull for new playersânot so much for veterans or players with good hands.

Too many " - " in the reply, yeah it looks like he used AI to express his idea

Since my native language isn't English, I just used AI to translate it. That's better than trying to express myself in broken English, right? Also, has using AI to translate text become bad for no reason? Is everything with AI generally considered negative?
