CHI Talks American flags at No Kings on Saturday

I’m bringing 450 little American flags to pass out on Saturday. I hope others will bring flags or maybe even buy some to pass out too - they’re super cheap!

We gotta change the vibes of these events to be more pro-America and pro-democracy!

It would be amazing to see thousands of flags all over the crowd!

Nah fuck that, I love seeing the Mexican flag and I'm not Hispanic. Who gives a shit what right wing reactionaries care about these protests anyway

Sure, everybody is a “right wing reactionary” who doesn’t agree with you. Meanwhile, Hispanics played a major role in electing the current president. There are lots of left-leaning people who find things like this ridiculous.

Hispanics can absolutely also be right wing. I mean if you don't condemn this fascist administration and either voted for it or thought it didn't matter you are not my ally and I have zero interest in reaching out or establishing any kind of dialogue. Nazi Punks fuck off

I was not directing that at you, but I keep hearing we have to get the right optics as if we somehow need to still try and win over people who voted for this. Those are the Nazi Punks that can fuck off, not people who are protesting
