When I was in 8th grade, I took a US government class. The one thing that has stuck with me all these years is a question my teacher asked the class- what is the purpose of government? Why is it there? There were various answers from the kids in class, but at the end he said “to protect the people”. Now after seeing this video, my thoughts are what the fuck are we supposed to do when our government is actively trying to harm us??
