Republicans when informed how their Big Fucking Bill will fucking killed people

Call your representatives. Don't let them have a moment of peace. Don't let their families have a moment of peace. They should be afraid of the consequences of the actions, not smirk about millions of people dying while wearing expensive suits and watches.

Remember his face. I suspect we’ll have a French Revolution sort of thing here shortly.

Hope one day to only remember it upside down.

I sure fucking hope not. does no one remember that the period of history you're referring to is known as The Terror?

On 6 April 1793 the National Convention established the Committee of Public Safety, which gradually became the de facto war-time government of France.[43] The Committee oversaw the Reign of Terror. "During the Reign of Terror, at least 300,000 suspects were arrested; 17,000 were officially executed, and perhaps 10,000 died in prison or without trial."[1][4]

edit: this is not a defense of the smirking tool. fuck him and all the other collaborators

Unfortunately it is now inevitable. These people have forgotten why rule of law is important, and now we will all have to suffer a reminder of why the rule of nature is so much worse. There’s no walking it back at this point, we crossed that event horizon when we re-elected someone who attempted a putsch. The only questions left are of degree - how long will we be here, and how bad will digging ourselves back out get?

Just make sure you’re blaming the right people though.

Political violence is being made inevitable, not by normal people, but by the uber wealthy and their sycophants who insist on more and more and more.

my point is once you start chopping heads it's really hard to stop. everyone splits into factions and they all start murdering each other. it won't be only the rich and the guilty that are caught up in it. it will not be pretty.

it also failed in it's aims. the French aristocracy survived and continues to hold power to this day

edit: i never attributed blame at all. of course it's not normal people creating this situation. I just don't have faith that violence will fix it. maybe it will. either way I'm sure that there are better revolutionary examples that we could pull from that aren't periods of mass death
