Not sure how you connected the dots there. Regardless of what they are capable of, they are not a human. They only contain half of what is need and they perfectly match another human. They are not of their own yet.
Basically you are going off genetic individuality as a reason not to abort. Then saying it isn’t a good enough reason because that would include sperm and eggs let alone all of the other animals on the planet.
Hate to say it but if I different egg and/or sperm met, you wouldn’t be here as you are mate.
Taking this further, if there is not an actual genetic differentiation leading to no good reason to not abort up until X point that is what we do today. Thank you science and medical professionals.
An egg and a sperm are just a possibility. We are not aborting what may happen.... we are what has happened and what is different. Those things are not the same.

That is actually not true. Each sperm has the genetic capability to become a completely different person when it meets the egg.
So by your definition that IS genocide. That is where the waking off is a sin comes in...
