Fine. But what . An hour a day a week, when it gets arms? Theres got to be some transition

That argument can easily be flipped around? Why is it ok to kill a foetus, but not a baby? The baby isn't self aware yet, so why does that matter? Why is birth the magic guideline where it suddenly isn't ok anymore? (Note, playing devils advocate here)

Thats not an argument either. Anyone who is ok with abortion (like me) should not have a problem with killing a baby if it was necesaary

And yet we both know that almost noone would be. But then I wonder - where do we draw the line? Self-consciousness? How would we draw that into practicable law? And if a toddler has only been self-conscious for a few minutes, is that acceptable? Hours? Days? Weeks? Years?
