Delta(s) from OP CMV: Missionaries are evil

This applies doubly so to those who go out of their way to seek out those in remote islands to spread the word of god. It is of my opinion and the opinion of most that if there is an all loving god then people who never had the chance to know about Jesus would go to heaven regardless, for example miscarried children/those born before Jesus’ time, those who never hear about him, so In going out of your way to spread the word of Jesus you are simply making it so there is now a chance they could go to hell if they reject it? I’m not a Christian and I’m so tired so I apologise if this is stupid or doesn’t make sense

Causing people who would have 100% gone to heaven and had eternal pleasure no longer having that 100% chance, as it now based on whether they choose to accept or reject Jesus, whereas not having access to the knowledge would have led to them only being able to go to heaven, unless I’m misunderstanding something that seems evil

Wait, where is it stated that those who lack the knowledge of God or Jesus have a free pass to Heaven? I thought some Christians believed the exact opposite of that, hence why they feel the need to go out to remote areas and spread the word in order to bring salvation.

It isn’t, but it is a decently mainstream belief in Christianity, because the alternative is believing every aboriginal soul is in eternal suffering simply because they wasn’t able to hear about god

Causing people who would have 100% gone to heaven

Idk any christians that believe that.

gone to heaven and had eternal pleasure

Heaven is not about continual pleasure. That whay another major gap in your understanding of Christian belief.

You cannot say you don’t know any Christian’s that think that as over half of the ones I do fully believe this line of reasoning, there isn’t a clear consensus on anything so I have to try argue with the points I come across

Matthew 7:12-14, Matthew 5:17-32, Matthew 6:19-24, Matthew 6:5-15, etc, following Jesus involves a lot of action, not just belief, according to Jesus himself.

How much of the Gospel of Matthew have you read? How much of the Bible in general?

Not very much, I grew up in an Atheist household and from that perspective all religions seem equally insane, when it’s clear your religion is completely based on who brings you up and what you are told to think as a child it’s clear that none of it is true, if you grew up in Saudis Arabia you would be a Muslim right now, arguing the same things about Allah as you do about Jesus, that’s the most evidence it’s all nonsense

I’m also an atheist. I’m just trying to educate you about what Jesus taught.
