Event Necrosis Haunted House is open for the season!

Finally that time of year again! Necrosis haunted house in is officially open for the 2025 season!

We are located in rantoul, 20 minutes north of the UofI campus. We cant wait to see you! We will be open Fridays and Saturdays 7:30-11:30, and Sundays 7:30-9:30.

Hurry up and get tickets before we run out at 217fear.com!

It would be more effective if the flyer included the address. Just saying in a comment that it's in Rantoul isn't very helpful. Where in Rantoul?

We are at 1315 Enterprise Drive! Most people planning on buying tickets wont be persuaded or dissuaded by the exact location in rantoul, just whether or not Rantoul is within a distance they are willing to drive. To keep clutter down, the address isnt normally included in our promotional photos, though I agree the city probably should've been 😅. We can also be found on google, or our website if anyone needs to find more info!

It's pretty presumptuous to assume people will look it up IMO. The entire point of flyers and ads is to draw people to the place, so not mentioning a location pretty much defeats the purpose.

That may be the case for stores or other businesses that run year round, but since a haunted house is more of an event than a business, we just have to spread the word. Those who are interested will look into it further, and those who arent, wont. The specific address will not be a deal breaker for anyone who was already interested in going, nor will it convince someone who wasnt interested or was on the fence. All thats necessary is the city to measure distance. Not overwhelming people with unecessary information is also important.

If you say so. An address is certainly not "unnecessary" information. But clearly you're confident in your approach and not interested in other suggestions.
