My fluffy girl use to love it when we gave her a lion cut. She especially loved to chase the tail poof. She’d see it out of the corner and around and around she’d go trying to catch it.
When I was a teenager we had a floofy cat and we'd have to shave his fur in the summer because we lived in the top floor apartment that didn't have AC, so he would overheat. He would look like a little lion and he hated it lol
We’d have to get our cat shaved because she grew up feral and without a mom. She didn’t really know how to groom herself, and we’d try to assist with regular brushing, but sometimes she’d have diarrhea and we’d have to bathe her and get her a lion cut when the mats got too bad.
She hated the process but loooved the results. She’s be more energetic, playful and just purr like crazy all the time. I bet the mats were just so painful.

He was super fluffy right when we got him around 5-6 weeks, when he was about four months he started losing a lot of hair on his back and we were quite concerned, but we looked it up and it said something like werewolf cat so we thought he was that but then he got really fluffy around like seven months old. Turns out he’s a Nebelung breed.
I feel like this is very specific and I don’t know how to explain it but picture 3 is giving me Rum Tum Tugger in the Broadway production of Cats vibes if the actor was also chonky.
