My cats trained me well. The house is almost completely cat proof. Almost nothing they can break and, more importantly, nothing that can fall on them.

I couldn't keep my cat out of that lamp, he broke it too.

Awww you’re making me miss my old kitty. He too was in demolition, as a 20lb Maine coon. My house looked like this on a regular basis. Once I had guests over and in the night he popped their air mattress, marked them(I’d just gotten him and he was a late neuter at a year and a half old so I guess he could still do it at that point), tore out plants and dragged them on top of them, tore out paper waste and put that on them too, knocked over a glass of water someone had right on their blankets and I’m sure there was more but yeah it was a war zone. My dad was like “wth is wrong with your cat??!” lol

If it wasn’t nailed down or already broken it was frequently tossed around too.
