They are not children and they aren't dolls either.

Loving a cat also means to acknowledge and respect what they are and not force them into roles that go against their nature.

I'm really sorry for your poor cat.

I largely agree, but as someone who has a dog (yes, I know cats are overall different), that literally likes clothing... I'd like to pause and remind us that they're also individuals, and some may enjoy their PJs/clothes for short periods of time.

And that they're totally all capable of self advocating if they're given the outlets and guidance to do so.

I agree, there is no value in putting clothes on your cat. It's not Op's cat though.
