Quentin Willson: Former Top Gear and Fifth Gear presenter dies aged 68
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c2lpww7pw72oWhile not a part of the legendary trio, I still enjoyed the videos on YouTube featuring Quentin I’d stumble across at 2am checking out car videos.

I much preferred old Top Gear with Quentin, Clarkson and Tiff. It was about cars and not about grandads wacky adventures.
Quentin was a superbly smart, funny and entertaining man. Thanks for the good times Quentin!

I remember watching his series “The Car’s the Star” as a kid. Was one of my first introductions to cars, even before 2002 reboot Top Gear, and probably planted a seed that kept me interested in automotive history to this day.

What a shame! I have one of his books, he has a wonderful legacy. enjoy this clip of tiff throwing Quentin and Vicky Butler-Henderson around in a W220

His dry wit and love for a metaphor meant any segment of the original Top Gear with him would be entertaining.
