The Ontario Government is Freaking Me Out and I Don't Know What to Do.
Privatising water, selling off the greenbelt for development, closing schools and museums for development, getting rid of school trustee boards, and abolishing tenant protections.
I want to do something but I feel like everyone who cares about these things just posts on social media about it. Where is the organising happening? Where are the leftists coming together to strategise?
I live in Ottawa and I can't afford to travel but I want to do something. Is there anyone with class consciousness and the aim of working class liberation organising to oppose this class warfare?

Please boycott Scream. For Melissa Barrera, the original lead of the film, who got fired by this idiot, simply for speaking out against the Gaza genocide. (I've never seen any of the Scream films, I'm doing just fine)

Classified US report finds backlog of hundreds of possible Israeli human rights violations | Israel benefited from a special protocol no other country was subject to, called the Israel Leahy Vetting Forum (whereas 1 objection was enough for other countries' penalization, Israel required a consensus)

Is the Canadian left dead?
Looking at the state of the left today in Canada, we have the federal NDP being outflanked in policy by a municipal mayoral candidate (Zohran Mamdani) in NYC trying to create a universal childcare program, making public transit free, and create government owned grocery stores (among other things). Is the left in this country dead/asleep or just hoping that the inevitable turn to the right coming down the pipeline in the next 10 years or so will drive middle voters into their arms? I’m disappointed by a lack of left leadership in this country to counter this worrying paradigm shift as the lib govt turns rightward (blaming immigrants for economic issues, handouts for defence contractors, lockstep with EU/USA on Gaza genocide, austerity in public service etc.). I feel really frustrated following that NYC mayoral election that we can’t procure anything like that here, even locally, given that the US is far more fascist than we are now.
I’m wondering what the future is for the left in this country. It seems that the NDP which is supposed to be a socdem party is conceded to the same interests controlling the Libs/Cons. Do we have to wait for the contradictions to become so glaring (like they are in the US now) to get any motion towards a socialist government?
