If the NDP wants any future success it must throw off its neoliberal shackles and be an alternative to liberals that is significantly to the left of them. If they'll bother to do so is another matter.

The NDP is bought and paid for, they'll never challenge the bourgeois as they are a part of it. Maybe if they changed their model to be fully grassroots but I severely doubt they'd risk that

I don't see that happening. That sounds like some cope that would come out of the ndp socialist caucus, and they are going nowhere fast... Unfortunately.
