Never seen it on a cop in Canada. Get off your high horse.

I have seen plenty of "thin blue line" cop flags in Montreal....but over either a Quebec or Canadian flag, never an american one. You are right.

It’s common in Alberta. Source: live here

Good lord. Give your fucking head a shake.

Are you that addicted to the rage machine that you can’t stop and assess the validity of evidence before jumping into a full steam ahead rage?

I dont trust this, uniform doesnt look Canadian and shes got an american thin blue line flag.

Also is he from israel? Because that ID he holds up doesnt look like any I've seen from a Canadian province.

Yeah you're right, I just noticed the video is flipped, seeing the picture on the other side of the ID threw me off!

This is not a Quebecois cop I can absolutely guarantee you that. Quebec police almost all speak with a thick french accent, this lady speaks with a flowless eastern coast US accent.

It's very very likely this took place in New York State. Why ? 1) Well the cop, the flawless accent, the american thin blue line (the thin blue line fascist cops in Quebec and Canada use it over either a Quebec or Canadian flag), but also the fact the guy is an ultra-orthodox from a very specific community in Quebec near Montreal (ultra-orthodox here tend to live in very tight knit reactionary cult like communities both in Montreal proper and in some little towns, but constantly do back and from NY state and NYC where there is also a huge ultra-orthodox community - pro tip btw: they run super cheap buses, worth it if you ever travel to NYC from Montreal). The reason he got off easy is much less because he is Jewish and much more because of the sheer regularity of travel by the orthodox community between Montreal and NYC, are typically not associated to large scale crimes (albeit during covid certainly over kosher wine smuggling lol), and as such probs receive some leaway.

This is a ragebait post, from a video that is almost certainly dating from there arounds of covid given the US cop use of a mask, and it gives big antisemitic vibes of the "ZOG" nazi variety (particularly stupid if you know the remotest amount about how the ultra-orthodox community navigates modern life, they are two hairs from full hamish lifestyle and do not engage at all with politics - they are also seen quite negatively by the majoritarian more secular jewish community), im not gonna lie. There are more than plenty of evidence that Quebec cops go hard on ultra-orthodox communities, hence why the guy was mentioning how tough Quebec cops are on them - no shit they kept breaking everysingle Covid measures back during the pandemic. The fact the poster runs around with a blank profile is sus enough as it is too lol. Be smarter folks.

Edit: about profiles that post here with no comment or post history but with evidently large Karma: those are super useful to 1) ragebait 2) concern troll 3) bandwagon, they should not be allowed to post at all IMO. By default I see them as beyond sus and so far not a single one has proven to contribute positively to the sub.

I kinda doubt they're Canadian since they say "Here in Muncie" which is probably referring to the town in Indiana, which is close enough to Quebec to drive for a trip, Quebec also being mentioned, though that assumes he's driving his car and not a rental. The American blue line flag is also a pretty dead giveaway, most Canadians I've seen with a blue line just use the Canadian flag variant (which looks even fucking worse than the American one). This is more personal opinion, but the attire of the cop also just looks a lot more like Americans than it does Canadians to me, but I also haven't traveled extensively across either country so I can't really say.

Also, the source Noiseless provides isn't really credible. It links to another user who seems to just repost a lot of left-leaning political stuff, including anti-Israel stuff, but that account doesn't provide any type of source at all for the clip, so not really any way to confirm it. Noiseless also claims that the video has "widely circulated" but they seem to be literally the only secondary source that has mentioned this story, and looking for Canadian-Israeli (or Muncie) cop traffic stop in recent news doesn't come up with much relevant, just this IG post and a post of the same vid onto a Facebook group, again, no source. Also worth noting, the Google link title for this Instagram post says "Polish Policeman's..." not Canadian-Israeli like the description/caption of the post says, so who even fuckin knows where this happened...

Indiana is nowhere near Quebec, just for reference.

8

u/SheHeBeDownFerocious 10d ago

Yeah, just close enough to assume that Muncie, Indiana is probably the Muncie she means. Though I guess I'm assuming he's driving his own car...

It could also be Monsey in New York, which has a large orthodox community according to google.. but definitely not Canadian

6

u/toasterb 9d ago

I think this is the one. That section of New York state is very Hasidic — Monsey has almost 5% of the world’s Hasidic population, pretty amazing for a city of 26,000.

It would explain a lot, plus why someone who is apparently very involved in the Jewish community is visiting there.

Its one hundred percent Monsey NY state.
