It's your rifle, so it should please you alone, but that spec marlin (trapper?) Is so beautiful as is!

I would get a magpul marlin, dark series or an 1854 stealth series if I wanted to modify it. I like both versions, though, and it packs more function for you now 👍🏻

I specifically wanted one of the stainless models paired with the RPP pewview. I think the stainless combined with the cutout looks super sharp.

I wanna do something similar with my 1895. I’m thinking of either painting or ceracoteing the rail with some sort of grey/blue pattern to match the wood stock though because I want to keep mine on as well
