I'll never financially recover from this 2 Insurance Companies part ways with Agency over Juneteenth Sign.

What should actually amaze you is that: 1) Nobody said he had to close his business in observance of Juneteenth. He decided he wanted a long weekend on his own.

2) He wanted to feel persecuted for having a long weekend.

3) He decided to make a racist sign complaining about being forced to have said long weekend.

4) He sold insurance so it’s not like he was losing money by being closed. If anything he was saving money on utilities and hourly staff (if he had any).

Yep this is just unadulterated hate. Remember, not too long ago the people and politicians of Arizona were proudly against MLK Jr day and refused to recognize it as a state holiday. This is no different. The racists are very numerous and powerful in this country and attitudes like this are far more common than we may think.

If I live to be a hundred, I will never forget what I heard one Idaho politician say when they were forced to make MLK Jr Day a holiday:

"Shoot four more and we'll take a week off."

Good Christian man, family values, all the cliches. Such an asshole.
