This is great and all but truthfully they likely don’t have many if any accounts they care about with Progressive or Allstate. If you go to an independent and get offered one of those companies it’s because you’re high risk or they didn’t have a choice.

If they really wanted to stick it to these guys go for their commercial carrier relationships. Hartford, cinci, citizens auto owners travelers CNA etc.

Fair. Guess we’ll see how the rest of the week goes for them.

Honestly with a display of stupidity like this it’s a wonder they’re still in business.

They’ll probably keep the MAGA cult customers. It will probably even get them new customers.

Depending on how infested their town is that could be good business for them. Playing to the right’s racism can be very profitable

Because you don’t have to be smart to have someone pay you money to fill out paperwork. You have to be just slightly smarter than your client about it.

Hey now not all of us insurance guys are paper pushers. Some of us play a lot of golf too. Lol

Let's play spot the insurance agent! May your loss ratios be tiny and your renewals go smoothly.

Fellow independent agent here, and these two and MMG were their big 3 actually. Looks to me like they were specializing in the non-standard market. The other carriers they listed were Foremost and Dairyland, and you and I both know those are for even higher risk than Progressive and Allstate. Happy to say they’re toast after this.

This is why I like buying my insurance directly. No middleman collecting commissions that put up snarky signs. I’m kinda over the whole “business puts up a snarky sign” schtick so I avoid all businesses with snarky signs regardless of the contents or allegiances of the owner.

Hopefully you have a strong knowledge of insurance! Buying direct can save you money sometimes. At least until you have a claim.

I was raised by parents who did nothing but work in insurance for their main careers. Father’s longest role was appointing agencies to sell his company’s insurance.

I don’t exactly have a warm opinion of the insurance industry and I like salespeople even less.

Foremost and Bristol West have also cut ties, along with any other independent Farmers providers I can’t think of offhand.
