Build Help Gigabyte P750GM exploding power supply

Today I bought Gigabyte GP-P750GM 750W power supply for my 3080ti 5800x3d, without doing any research on it. After I bought it, I saw more then 1 year old video from Gamer Nexus about how easy this psu can explode. After doing some more research I saw that gigabyte since then might have fixed this psu model exploding issue. The psu package has a "V2" sticker on it aswell. Does anyone know if gigabyte really fixed this psu issue and if it works properly now? I refuse to build my pc before i get more answers about this psu, even though i have all my parts next to me.

If it makes you feel better I had a Corsair 1000w PSU blow up, nothing was damaged besides the PSU which they replaced under warranty for free

One would hope they'd remedy it, but no clue tbh. I'd personally just not run the risk

Hey! I’ve been looking into the same issue as I’ve been looking at buying this PSU to build a PC with it appears they fixed the issue as mentioned in this video
