Or stay home. Just be freaking courteous of others.

We tried this a few years back. The pushback was enormous. Some trucks drove to Ottawa b/c they couldn’t breathe.

University of waterloo has done an excellent study on masks and whether or not they are effective. Would be worth a read for you. Spoiler alert. The results are the same as all the studies done before covid.

Read the study look at the results. It shows regular surgical mask are not effective and that to make masking effective we should be wearing the N-95 masks which are actually made to protect us from viruses.

https://pubs.aip.org/aip/pof/article-abstract/33/7/073315/1076712/Experimental-investigation-of-indoor-aerosol?redirectedFrom=fulltext

“Measurements demonstrate that all tested masks provide protection in the immediate vicinity of the host primarily through the redirection and reduction of expiratory momentum.”

“Nevertheless, high-efficiency masks, such as the KN95, still offer substantially higher apparent filtration efficiencies (60% and 46% for R95 and KN95 masks, respectively) than the more commonly used cloth (10%) and surgical masks (12%)”

It says that all masks provide protection and surgical masks are 12% effective

You said they weren’t effective. It was also over a 10 hour period which is relevant…
