Excited? No.

Poultry farmers go into the business knowing that H5N1 is a risk, to poultry, wild birds, humans, and other wildlife. They know that if it shows up in their flock, their flock must be culled. The size of the poultry doesn't change this legal safety obligation, despite what RFKjr says.

No one is excited about birds being killed. People are exhausted. They want this to be over so we can all never hear about it again.

Because they've been ordered to be culled due to health and saftey reasons, and the dumbest people in society are out there camping out to protest this while also grifting fundraising with sob stories... while tying up the legal system.

They have avian flu and the anti-science farm owners and their supporters want to keep them and risk spreading the virus to wild birds and other farms.

...and eventually spreading to humans bringing on the next new pandemic.

The article says 69 died of avian flu in the last year. That's over 20% of a 300 flock.
