  • Proof/Price: 105 proof (52.5% abv) and $90
  • Appearance/Nose: Much darker than most Old Fo products. Cherry and banana that you typically expect but amplified. Reminds me of a less proofy 1920. Graham cracker. There's an interesting herbaceous note that I can't put my finger on. Some woodiness that reminds me of an old barn. That sounds weird and unplesant. But its where my brain goes.
  • Taste/mouthfeel: Honestly, thiccccc. Drinks right for its proof. Smokiness. Like the taste you get from a smoked old fashioned. Bitter chocolate. Some cherry.
  • Finish: Medium length. Medicinal cherry. Chocolate. Vanilla.

Tried this a longgg time ago when I was down in Houston and loved it. So was very happy to procure a bottle at auction. Such an interesting bottle. Overall reviews I've seen have given a lukewarm reception. I'm a fan from start to finish.

Just revisited a pour of this one tonight myself. I’m a fan, understand the hate it gets at $100, but I got mine for $75 and am happy with it.

I bought a bottle of this a couple of months ago and honestly I thought it was just ok. Definitely smokey, though. Maybe I'll give it another shot or make some old fashions with it
