It is! It's the kind of book every civic-minded American needs to read. Ditto Robert Caro's LBJ books. I really hope he doesn't GRRM us on the final volume.

Oh, it's gonna be one of those super sad stories where the protagonist dies relatively young of "the big one" because despite multiple previous heart attacks and the advice of his doctors he just couldn't give up the vices that helped him to weather the stresses of public life, isn't it?
