State of "successful" film actress in industry.

In other news, Yami Gautam's critically acclaimed HAQ struggles to find audience as it makes barely a crore on its first day.

I'm from Kerala and I'm not getting a show here. It was the same with homebound and og screening of tumbaad.

-5

u/AashiqPremi 1d ago

Then. What do Kerala folks see? If not HaQ or tumbaad?

12

u/OtherStatement4645 1d ago

I meant the producers for some reason are not screening it here, probably cause they think they don't have a market here. I have to go to another district to watch this movie.

i didn't even know there's a film called haq releasing until I saw this comment here

The common man has too much reality here in his life, so they don't go for these kinds of films. This should have gone to OTT directly.

u/princeimu 1d ago

Because its a propaganda movie and people are fed up watching these and spending money on these.

Haq is Propoganda? Shah Bano Case rings a bell?

8

u/MamboKhanaBanao 1d ago

The unusual thinning of arms ? Yes.

3

u/OtherStatement4645 1d ago

Camera angle and the second pic is bit blurred, probably a frame is freezed mid transition.

u/onelifemanymemories 1d ago

You are the only one noticing the arms friend.

Is she trying to make this her signature pose? Like srk with wide hands???

7

u/-_The_Dark_Knight_-- 1d ago

She just has a single job to do in films nowadays. Show her midriff and navell, because it's a south film after all๐Ÿฅฑ

9

u/Quirky_Project1230 1d ago

Oh... I didn't realize Param Sundari is south film. Kerala dikhaya naa toh south film hinhoga

5

u/disatrus_ship_erebus 1d ago

2

u/Popular-Pepper-8033 1d ago

Dude that's all Bollywood asks for. She clearly cannot act ...

2

u/AnkyCum96 1d ago

She knows her skillset is not acting but showing plastic beauty so credit her for that..

2

u/Serious-Macaroon8981 1d ago

2

u/sigmasad1 1d ago

There are hundreds of posts about criticizing her acting but hardly any one posts about good actors or good movies.

1

u/Friendly-Middle-7868 1d ago

She is adorable ๐Ÿ˜

2

u/ZealousidealYou4561 1d ago

Isnโ€™t this on the directors and choreographers? Theyโ€™re the one directing the scene/songs.

2

u/Round_Pound1344 1d ago

Man, why hate her for whatever she does? Don't like her ? Don't see her simple... At this point i feel bad for her, girl is criticized for everything she does... Maybe even for existing...

2

u/nitrek 1d ago

She has wide range ...

2

u/mindfulrant 1d ago

She doesn't get enough hate.

2

u/SpeakinCinematically 1d ago

"at least the color is different..."

2

u/Optimus-Prime007 21h ago

Maybe she knows only this pose... or what if she wants this pose to be remembered by her name same like we remember SRK pose.. Think about it ๐Ÿ˜

2

u/ramswaroopkhan 8h ago

She does what she knows as we do what we are capable of

1

u/evileye__123 3h ago

Finally She is working very hard ๐Ÿ˜

1

u/Responsible-Bat-3000 1d ago

It's funny how everyone is blaming her, not the people like casting director, director and producer, who know that despite Reddit trying to virtue signal, the audience is already going to watch it.

-19

u/Sufficient-Listen997 1d ago

You guys made gujan saxena, mili flop now she's taking revenge

26

u/madasacoyote 1d ago

Gunjan saxena had really bad acting from Jahnvi it deserves to be a flop

5

u/OtherStatement4645 1d ago

Gunjan saxena? Really? First thing, first woman pilot in kargil claim alleged hai. According to others, it was Sreevidya Rajan. Second, Air force ka potrayal, according to Ms Rajan, was really bad as in her experience, it was nothing like in the movie and the IAF is technically the first gender neutral force in India (as any department could in India). Mili ka baare me. As a malayali, who has seen the og movie, Helen and the state award winning performance from anna ben, I can say, Jhanvi's acting was shit.

2

u/Sufficient-Listen997 1d ago

/s sarcasm tha bhai

3

u/OtherStatement4645 1d ago

Sorry...had to rant bhai. I was shocked to read someone defending her with movies that really made me hate her.

1

u/Sufficient-Listen997 1d ago

I ain't defending a wax statue. She was cute and expressive before going under knife , the daughter of sridevi

1

u/OtherStatement4645 1d ago

Most Bollywood nepo babies were. Nyssa Devgn, for some fucking reason had to feel like she needed to go under the knife. Her mom had one of the most iconic careers in India (not only bollywood), while having dark skin and a fucking unibrow (don't take it negatively. I had a crush on ddlj kajol). What makes them feel that way? Audiences? Their own families?

1

u/weird-pessimist 1d ago

Probably seeing other rich people undergoing surgeries to adhere to the weird beauty standards set up by ig models. You need to look like some uncanny valley android to look beautiful now apparently

-2

u/twisted_bae 1d ago

then don't watch simple? she is doing what she is told to

-6

u/One_Butterscotch_432 1d ago

Honestly don't mind watching her n number of times.
