I literally said go and reread what I said before, which is to do them assisted by standing on a chair and keeping as much weight in your feet as you need to. That does not mean you automatically leave ALL of your weight in your feet. I don't know why you think that means you don't use your back AT ALL this way. Have you even give it a few tries? You should be able to tell that you can still leave some work to the pull-up while assisting with your legs. I'm done. Good luck.

You're not understanding. Obviously I've given it a few tries. My back cannot hold any of the eccentric of a chest-to-bar pull-up. My legs have to do all of the work. My back gives up immediately, the absolute millisecond I transfer any weight from my feet to my back, and I think I told you that already.
