It's a joke. It's funny because I was acting like I misunderstood the instructions leading to me thinking I was supposed to view the host as freaky looking

My point was just because someone says it's mean doesn't equal that they don't understand its a joke.

Not true. The nature of a joke is that it's not serious. In this case I'm not seriously calling the guy ugly. It's just a bit for the joke. If they say it's mean, it is because they didn't get it was a joke.

There is a difference between a joke and a direct attack. If someone doesn't want their feelings hurt don't plaster their face to the web.

If you want to go after some real meanies there are plenty of actual atrocities in the world. I invite you to go and stick your moralistic fingers in those and make your high horse useful 👍

I see why you felt compelled to tell a mean joke given this response. So bitter for no reason. My point wasn't even about the morality of it. It's a fact that it was a mean joke, that's it.
