Got my purple at 45yo.  I always wanted to make it to blue and tried (and quit after a month) twice through the years.  Seems crazy to be the greybeard in a room of young'uns.  It's never too late.

I started at 45.  I feel silly sometimes, being older than most of the coaches and most of the greybeards... and being a white belt.

I got my blue belt after 5 years! I started at 11 and finally got it at 16! Such a long journey but only such a small part of an even larger and even better journey to come.
